- In this video, I'm going to show you what's new with the Fenix PD35R - an upgraded version of the Fenix PD35. This light is now available in a rechargeable USB-C version, with an impressive output of 1700 lumens!
This light is an incredible value for the price - I highly recommend it if you're looking for a powerful, high-quality LED tactical flashlight. Plus, the dual tail switch makes it convenient and easy to use. Win, win! Once again, I want to say thank you to the folks over at the @FenixStoreOfficial

Awesome you got the Fenix flashlight company already on board!!! That's totally awesome Steven!!! Good for you! You're going places!!!!
Thank you for your support and comments. I appreciate it!
That's an awesome flashlight.i have the pd35, and will definitely be getting this upgrade now! GOOD REVIEW STEVEN!!! Congrats on the Fenix store sending you that for a review. Remember us little guys when you blow up 🤣
LOL 😆 I will, don't worry! Haha thanks for the comment and support. Appreciate you watching.
Seems like a great tactical light. Reminds me of my olight warrior mini but with way more throw. I think Fenix has a larger version of this one? I actually prefer this over my olight. I like the anodizing of Fenix lights. Very tough. I have a hm50r that I like. Fenix is a bit pricey though.
It's a great light. They have a PD36R that's a slightly larger light than this one, it's been out for a couple of years now. This one is there newest release. It has an incredible throw. I appreciate the comment and thanks for watching! I appreciate the support! If you haven't subscribed yet I'd greatly appreciate it if you could! Have a good one!
Nice flashlight and nice review, thanks man !
I have the Fenix WT25R and Fenix E12 V2.0 and im pretty pleased so far with the quality, probably my next flashlight will be Fenix again !
Thank you for the comment, and for watching. Those are nice lights as well. This PD35R is my new go-to light after using it for a bit now. It's a great setup all around.

@@TARTARAKURZHAAR you as well!!
Hi Steve! Thanks for the review. More beamshots with the different modes would have been great. Btw., the LED is a Luminus SFT40 LED.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the comments and your input. I'm going to do more beam shots and showcase the different modes in my next one! Thanks again!
I'm not sure why I said SFT70! It was definitely a slip up I noticed after I'd posted it! 😆 sorry about that!!
Fine! I'm looking forward to it! 👍
ok ok ok ok i see you brother
Thanks for the comment and support! I appreciate it!
Nice review. Appreciate it!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the comment!
Does this light fit nicely in jeans pocket without being too bulky?
It isn't bulky at all. Fits well in a pocket.
Love fenix but my tactical light is a surefire. Both are great though.
Both are great brands. Fenix is still on my top of the list, though. Personal preference and past experiences with both.
@@Stevens_EDC_Reviews what do you use for mounting to rifle, handgun, and just in hand tactical light? all of those you use fenix?
All Fenix, yeah lol
@@Stevens_EDC_Reviews thats surprising and somewhat rare. the fenix pistol lights only have about 10 reviews on amazon vs streamlight / surefire having 5,000-10,000 amazing reviews. not saying the fenix lights won't hold up, but I'd like to see more testing before I trust my life to it. I will admit the remote switches and lights are A LOT cheaper in price than surefire. That being said I really like fenix lights.
PD35R or PD35 v2 you can only have one....GO?
For sure, the PD35R. It has an SFT40 LED instead of the CREE in the PD35 V2. It's USB-C rechargeable. It has 700 more lumens than the PD35 V2. It has the dual tactical tail switches conveniently placed for one-handed operation. It's all together a much better flashlight than the PD35 V2. It isn't a BAD light, but the PD35R is a game changer over it hands down.
Ahh dang it. I screwed up there. I actually meant the pd35 V3.
I'm wondering how it actually compares, out in the real world, to the PD 35R. With the same sft40.?
@sknight0391 I haven't received that one yet. I'll be getting it soon, though.
