- Hey Aquamigos! I added the Anbull Pond Filter Pump from last weeks video to the pool pond. I think it looks pretty cool and it will add some filtration as well! Do you have a Fancy Koi in there as well. As you were filming about your missing Calico Goldfish I thought I saw it a couple of times. However the 2nd time was a really large fish and most likely a fancy Koi. I sure hope you find it. Sometimes they hunker down deep this time of year. You should see all the ice around the edges of my pond. They are not eating or swimming around much and all stay in a group with is great. I run an aerator and big heater but they are in their hibernation-like state. Tomorrow picking up some more Sword plants and a bunch of guppies for my indoor tanks. Starting hand feeding some baby parrots this week and the baby hamster is as the adult sized one. I really do hope your Goldfish reappears.
I think the fish you might have seen is my shubunkin goldfish. It has a really similar pattern to the fan tailed goldfish that went missing. Unfortunatley it still hasn't reappeared, but I will still keep an eye out. My water parameters have stayed the same, but I did notice a little bit of an algae bloom. Best of luck with your fish and animals! In my experience with my fish, it doesn't get quite cold enough for them to hibernate where I live, but I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for him

Thanks for the videos! I'm thinking about buying this pond filter pump myself. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions? How often should I clean the device? Also, how often should I replace the filter media and sponges?
What was that fish that came to the surface during feeding 2:29? Really unusual with the feeler type mouth parts. So Cool

Again, another slap to short body goldfish. They are just too weak compare to normal goldfish and they just suffer their whole life. Its body should still be inside the pond though, consider you have a net and it's not eaten by other goldfish.
Yeah it's really a shame what they go through 😢 I'm going to try to see if I can find the body today, like you said I'm sure it's in there somewhere
