In this video, we unbox and setup HEXA. Then we go into the basic functions of explorer mode, rescuing our good buddy Cozmo using Night Vision! Then we go over the other apps such as Dance, Bull fighting, and much more!
I’m an all-terrain hexapod robot. I fit in a backpack. I have a variety of sensors, an open operating system, and an easy-to-use SDK. I’m the starting point of an artificial life. It’s nice to meet you.

It actually, has an actually in it! If u notice the actual cover has an actual reason because there is another actual thing actually inside! Actually the 360 actually goes 360, and it actually goes all the way around actually.

Thats actually a nice design.
Great video! Did I get it right- the battery time is 4 hrs, then it has to charge 1,5 hrs? Which means that if he chases the sun around the apartment for 4 hrs it has to go back to the docking station, re-charge and then continue on? Can you program it to go to the docking station by itself when battery is low?
Avoid saying "actually" and "go ahead". Apart from that, great video, very informational.
Wow, it’s more balanced than Alpha2.
But really, it reminds me of the Lego robotics kit where you build your own robot and program it to do various different things. It seems like it would be a really fun toy for any kid into that sort of thing.

I am quite curious how expensive this will be.
Because I am planning to make my own hexapod, and I would like to keep it cheaper than any commercialy available hexapod.
+legotechnic27 I don't have a price yet because it will be launching on kickstarter soon. But the more people that apply, the cheaper it will be. It is geared as a premium hexapod as there are cheap hexapods on the market, but this one has a unique setup with a built in processor and many different bells and whistles. It is more for the people who want a new platform to work with. It's really different then any other robot I've seen. But do post a video of your Hexapod :) would love to see it!!

How much can it do by itself? To me this doesn't seem lika a robot but a radio (wi-fi in this case) controlled machine? It's like that show robot wars. It wasn't robots it was radio control wars. What defines something to be called a robot really?
kallebal Being autonomous isn't what makes a robot a robot necessarily. If someone has a robotic arm, does that mean that they can't control it? I don't think so personally.
