I'm surprised the frontline remained a stalemate for years even when the US, UK and France had 0 manpower each while the Soviet Union had 16 millions.
Also with the USSR's factory count rising hingh in numbers, it surprises me that it didn't make a difference.
Which such a high factory count you’d think that they eventually have a stronger airforce. Maybe the Soviets didn’t have enough resources. The airforce was likely the reason why the Allies held the front.
I'm less surprised. The Allied airforce, which is hundreds of times bigger than the Soviet one, has probably turned most of the occupied Soviet land into rubble. I can imagine "tunnel warfare" being the new norm, because so much of the land itself is destroyed by bombers. Besides this the Allies usually make better units than the Soviets do. I have no idea why the Allies always invest all of their manpower into their airforce though, as eventually they just run out of units altogether.
