What I like about songs like this is that, other pop songs that have awesome beats like this give me this satisfaction that doesn't last. It makes me happy in a different way. It makes me feel like I am slowly getting drunk of wanting to twerk and etc. But songs like this makes me have this different type of excitement. I feel this overwhelming joy that makes me makes me squeal (sounds kinda like a dying seal). Songs like these really make me feel better. I'm fasting from pop music, and songs like these are a great alternative

Thanks man, it legit means a lot :) And while I could argue for hours on whether Adobe or Final Cut is better for these things, I've found that it really boils down to what you are the most comfortable with. These effects could have easily also been done in After Effects.
***** this is a pretty good video i agree. i run the music for a small men's group and am always looking for lyric music vids for a bit of worship before we get into it... unfortunately because the words appear right when the word is sung i cant really use it as people who dont actually know the song dont get the lyric till its to late.... maybe something to consider for next the next one
No! (I hope you didn't, two years ago when you wrote this!) Final Cut is best fitted for editing footage and telling stories. AE is for manipulating short-form footage and graphics for great stuff like this.

Thanks, man! I used Final Cut Pro X. The effects were a combination of FCPX presets (like flashing and bokeh) as well as fire, smoke and shock waves from Video Copilot and Action Essentials.
