It's obvious that Foden needs to be benched, not Jude - otherwise totally agree with you lads. Gordon on the left instead of Foden, and Foden is a phenomenal impact sub for Jude when he tires. FG's option of dropping Jude deeper and having Foden at 10 could be a plan b that could be ok, but plan A has to be Foden benched for Gordon for exactly the reasons Andy was saying about the Scholes argument.
You should bench saka for foden on the right foden is so much better on the right than the left

Hate how everybody keeps forgetting this and blames him for the poor performances when actually England got worse after they dropped him.
He also made the most mistakes of any England player. He can't receive the ball under pressure in midfield. Gallagher is absolutely worse than him, but at least he runs. Trent trots about waiting to ping a ball 40 yards crossfield, there's more to football than that.

FG saying Bellingham was signed as deep laying playmake is so funny. Ancelotti and carvajal both called Jude the benz replacement and said that he was better the closer you had him to goal, also poaching goals in the box consistently but we are meant to believe he’s a deep laying player.

Bellingham was never a deep lying midfielder at Dortmund, he was always box to box or lightly as a 10 (dortmund's got an odd system with natural 10's playing a mix of wing/10)

I’ll get hate for this but I do think we are missing a Phillips type of player who will sit and protect the defence. Phillips was the best mid in the Euros 21 and Rice played better next to him. Southgate had all this season to try someone else, like Mainoo, next to Rice and Bellingham.

Every body who's watched England players during there leagues season knows how each player has performed when have we ever seen Foden on the wings last season we never, but Clowngate for some reason what's to play him on the wing we are talking about a player who won Premier League Player of the Season and this clown isn't even playing him in his best position. Palmer on the bench not being played for the 1st 2 match's and only playing around 10 mins on match day 3 we all know how good of a season he's had and he's been benched mostly all tournament. Bringing Gordon on in the 89th min another pointless sub playing for 5 mins. Bellingham is quality right. No doubt about it. But my understanding of his role at Real Madrid this season was him playing as a false 9. Not a proper 10. He’s not got creativity of Foden, and would be comfortable in the 8 role. He wouldn’t score as many, sure, but he wouldn’t play badly. Southgate might be the only one who doesn’t see it 🤦♂️
fully agree with all the England chat but FG, Bellingham is NOT a deep-lying playmaker for Madrid😆 He's basically a no. 9, that drops into midfield. But if you watch his heat map and positioning he spends the majority of the game central, and forward.
I like the chance to have more of the new cards, but personally would just not allow chem breakers for squad building at all (ie. use normal versions of card for squad building for all guessing). Think it would make it easier to follow instead of allowing 1 chem breaker and sometimes not knowing if it's used or not. Hope that makes sense
If you really want to win a trophy is time to bench Kane... play with two false 9 Foden end Jude which can switch with eather... play Gordon left .. let Rice play as CDM and let Maino play allover the middle ... also play Trent over Trippier so when they attack Trent can go in middle with Maino

That new format could get exploited really quick because you there are a lot of chem breakers that have gold or silver cards and you can tehnically put their worst version in sbs to not get it guessed and then change it to their best version
If you use that rule then you shouldn't be allowed to use any chemistry breaker for your squad building. If you use a chemistry breaker you are not allowed to use the better version of a player.

I think this new rule about the chemistry breakers, is great now at the “end” of the game because then you can try the new cards, without using your chemistry breaker

I wanna suggest that you can use any chemistry breaker that is not top nine countries and have as many as you want. But only have one top nine player hero or icon

Full disclosure, I am an American and dont watch soccer too often. All of my soccer knowledge is from FIFA and hearing you guys talk to each other.
In every video for the past 2 months, when someone asked you what your ideal starting 11 is, you said “Kane, Foden, Rice, Bellingham, Walker” and every other player that you just mentioned. You are now saying that none of these guys should be playing and that they should be doing something completely different. There is a reason why Southgate is the manager and you guys are not.
That being said, love the content and always look forward to every upload!
