Excellent video. Very easy & simple instructions. Fixed my HP 7510 printer paper pick up problem . This repair video WORKS !! Saved me from buying a new printer.
i will try this tomorrow as my rollers are not pushing the paper through. i have had my 7510 and it has been a great reliable printer. i hope it can be fixed
Did all these in my HP printer. Several resets, printing from different sources, etc. They all did not help. Still getting 'Out of Paper' message. Paper Pickup rollers are clean, drop down and turn, but then pop up again instead of feeding a page of paper in. Manually shoving the paper in a few inches sometimes works, since apparently the next set of powered rollers and the printer itself works fine. The pickup rollers also then stay down and work normally. The little white roller to the left to sense height of paper looks and acts normal. Nothing in these 'Out of Paper' error message videos and HP blogs address a 'no paper' sensor being the issue, nor how to test, fix, or bypass it.
Yea, you are so right! I just Unplugged and restarted and it fixed it! The voice message from the Printer scold me for unplugging without turning it off first! But I had turned it off and on and that didn't fix it! Thank you
Thank you. There were some stuff stuck in the printer and i never knew how to open it. Now because of the video and could take it out. Thank you a lot.
Have a officejet 6500A plus the main paper pick up rollers are not spinning how do I get to that roller to check it out. The printer will not pick up the paper and keeps saying out of paper tried everything that was suggested and the only problem I see is the main roller.
Hi Karen Moree, Please search for C02446494 on HP’s home page or using Google search. It is the paper will not pick up paper document for your Officejet 6500a printer. Also please search for C01154548. It is a carriage jam document for the printer. Sometimes carriage jams present themselves as paper related messages.
So, thanks for the tips. My rollers ARE rolling when there isn't any paper in it, but right when I put paper in... NO ROLLING!? Any suggestions. Very hard to find a repair shop in Dallas that works on injet printers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for a great video. MORE HELP with a reply is greatly appreciated!
Does not mention another key issue with several HP printers, the paper "pick-up" cogs get damaged easily and access to that area is extremelly difficult (self repair could be easy if not so difficult to get to that area. Experienced based on HP Officejet 6600.
I swore i would never buy a HP product again after a laptop dying on me within a year use. My mom bought me this printer and again this thing died within 100 prints. I have only replaced the ink once and now it wont pick up, even after playing repair tech = HP GARBAGE
HP printers are the worse! I have a printer that I used very lightly when doing t-shirts, 1 year later the printer will not even turn on. I checked the adapter and it's not the problem. How does something go wrong in the printer when it been turned off for a year? Answer: Planned Obsolescence!
I have hp officejet pro 3610 I haven't used it for 2 years. Now it doesn't picks up paper.I dont how it will.Cause the rollers arent even touching the paper down. And they arent rolling I touched them through paper tray. Are they supposed to automatically come down as their is atleast 1 inch gap between paper and that roller?? Please help
@@HPSupport The main problem with the printer is that when I on it.It starts making noise and something happens inside. Then it stops. And shows"There is a problem with the printer or ink system".When I press ok again same and the cycle continues. Please help me.Dont just paste any link again

My photosmart does not print from files coming from our TouchSmart PC. However, it prints from out iMac through wifi. Found out from the printer icon that there is a file that should be printing from the HP computer and it's hang up, and I couldn't delete this particular file. All other files on cue for this printer from this computer can be deleted, but not this particular one. Can one help, thank you.
@Rey Santos Please follow the steps in the "HP Printers - Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows)" document ( ow.ly/7E5W300AanH ). It will help you get rid of the stuck print job.
+Bob Franks mine does that too - if I don't have paper under the feed wheels, I see them turn, but if there is paper under them, the wheels just do not turn.

I thought there was no way that resetting the HP-Photosmart-7510's power supply would affect the roller's ability to pick up paper (I assumed it was a mechanical malfunction), but I was wrong. Thank you for this step by step solution!
