I’d like to potentially create something that looks like a big publishing company would have produced it, if it’s possible to do via KDP. Thank you!

The cookbook you ordered was printed in B&W. You can format your book just like the big publishing houses do - either by yourself, or by delegating the job to a freelance graphic designer for an affordable price. How many pages is the average book? This sounds intimating, writing chapters and hundreds of pages, potentially 😂 but interesting at the same time. You're right about Low Content Books. I have a journal and daily planner on Amazon, and it's not producing like i had hoped.
