Love your app critiques, as always 👌 insightful commentary on pop ups, I tried to think of good pop up examples, but only thought of the Apple Music playbar popup
There's a flaw with your thinking around using videos vs. photos. If you're traveling, data caps might be something that users need to be conscious about. Especially with roaming charges. You did mention about this experience being hyperoptimized due to A/B testing, and this is a scenario where they probably optimized for this specific reason. A better solution/recommendation would be to have an opt-in video experience feature (which I believe they already have), to set the right expectations for users.
Very arrogant for you to critique some design aspects were there are over 200 UI Designer at Google thinking about the smallest design choice possible.
clearly you have no idea that design critiques are part of a lot of ux interviews. Too bad you won't get the opportunity to do those interviews in the future LOL

Great job! Love the idea on making maps more of a tour guide

Browser UX comparison could be cool if not done in this channel (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc.)
Great suggestion
