Making Shower Steamers with Vodka

When those shower steamers won’t stick together, I suggest trying vodka. No, lol, not to drink, but as a binder. I usually use witch hazel as my liquid binder, but sometimes it’s hard to find. Vodka is in plentiful supply, and it’s cheap. Find an inexpensive brand, and follow along with this tutorial as I show you how to create a reliable shower steamer binder. I have had tons of success making shower steamers with witch hazel and/or vodka, so I hope this helps you if your shower steamers are not binding properly. If you’re ever having trouble with shower steamers the biggest culprit is the amount of wet ingredients. Add just a little at a time until it holds together. Shower Steamer Recipe
24 Ounces Baking Soda
12 Ounces Citric Acid
.2 Ounces Corn Starch
.2 Ounces Lavender Essential Oil
.2 Ounces Lavender Fragrance Oil
.2 Ounces Eucalyptus Oil
.2 Ounces Melted Menthol Crystals
2-6 Sprays Witch Hazel OR Vodka Mixture
Colored Course Sea Salt (Optional)
Vodka Mixture
2 Ounces Vodka (40% Alcohol)
2 Ounces Distilled Water
