Nothing better than seeing and sketching outside with the birds! Fantastic little sketch and wonderfully explained. I’m falling into the sketching ‘rabbit hole’ again….Thanks Toby.
A little bit here, a little there and voilà a really nice Church Sketch! This simple splashing with the paint brush and the effects. Thanks a lot for sharing and tutoring. (Next stop for myself: Countryside of Hessen!)
Great Toby. The bold and shadow really makes it pop.Interesting using serendipity of paint flow to provide the defined edge at that stage. Flicking good...🙂 I have a couple of nice churches in mind for this treatment already! Thanks again. Terry
Hi Toby, can you tell me what brush you're using pls? I'm looking for a travel one that I can pack away easily. Yours looks as tho it comes in two pieces?
I wish you would take pity on us gouache students, and show how to adapt your style, your looseness, your wonderful looseness, to our chosen medium. We are certainly lacking a mentor! Are you ready for this challenge?
I wouldn't be surprised if the audio isn't as good as normal - the challenges of filling outside. I have some more outside tutorials coming, but I voiced over them you'll be pleased to hear 🙉

Hehe sorry I missed this, my Fischer skills will need some work before I can teach anyone 😜
I have that case. Really handy. How did you attach the black straps?
Signed up for you free course.
With some sewing 🪡🪡 it's very handy!
@@TobySketchLoose ok, thanks.
Great video showing the process of outdoor sketching Toby - just don't fall backwards into those nettles - ouch!
Can confirm no Toby's were harmed
👍🖐.
Another one who uses an IKEA Mala. I think Alice Lim uses it as well.
It's a great solution!
