- レゴでSF風の宇宙船のエレベーターを作りました。床の扉が開き、宇宙船が上昇して登場します。一つの回転動力だけで扉とエレベーターの全てが機械仕掛けで連動して動きます。扉が閉じたとき、扉と床が面一になり、一見すると何も無いように見える点が特徴です。Webサイトでより詳しい情報を公開しています。

This idea needs to be incorporated in one of those big Star wars spaceships
I love how elegant the mechanics of this are, especially the doors and how they're held together and raised under their own weight
the build quality is insane, look at how smoothly the mechanisms work even when he hand cranks it
Japan quality
And of course he did all of it with a single motor.
And a fine tuning knob.
You only need to read "Akiyuki" and you instantly know that he manages to increase the Value of awsomeness with every single Video

In macross, the light was shwoing on the plane, making nice and dramatic
the use of the actuator to keep the door connection consistant is genius

Only the Venators do this kind of thing. And only the doors. Though apparently the other hanger is on the floor below.

Everything down from the extra blocks to make the detail lines. To the Doors, greatest use of power functions on bricks (oppose to purely technic) I've seen. Awesome

This looks so smooth-operating, so good! Congratulations! I somewhat now wanted to see a mini-film space opera with this realtime animations going! Great! Could I suggest just one detail?: the four grey edges on the rising platform (where the ship is), could have a blue (or red maybe) translucent stud instead (or adjacent to those) to help the 'landing-platform' theme :]

Forget about the complicated and ingenious system, that door fits FLUSH with the hole. Especially with the slope pieces lego makes that is a feat in itself
