I been using the jfj for like a year now and there are some things people need to know. First off it wont fix deep scratches i tried the sand paper and the buffer pads and the deep ones are still there. Also dont tighten the the disc to tight it will crack the middle of the disc. I was getting these little swirls on the disc i emailed the company for help and they never replied. The sand papper peels up from the pad leaving a ring around the middle and killing the games. I wish there was another option for the price.

Thanks for all the information! I’ve actually sold my JFJ since I made this video and now I am just paying a local game store to fix the discs because they have an ELM Eco Auto Smart and it’s amazing!

I'm personally not fond of the JFJ, I had two PS2 games that worked fine in my system after running them through the JFJ, sold both, then got 2 returns and negative feedback with no communication on both, it sucked taking the loss on them and since then I've just sent any discs worth resurfacing to a guy I know with an Ecco Master so I know they're being resurfaced properly.

I have definitely done the exact same thing. I tried to take out scratches when the game still worked and ended up making the disc unreadable. I really try to avoid using the sandpaper if possible because I have yet to break a game just by using the buffing pads. I would absolutely love to get an eco pro because of I heard nothing but good things about it, but right now it’s just not in the budget so I have to make do with the jfj. I hope I made that clear in the video that this definitely isn’t the best or even a great disc resurfacer but I think for the money it does a pretty decent job.

you need more testing, do a backup of the game, sometimes it boot, but then in some point the game freeze....i use hdloader to do a backup before sell a ps2 game.

So do you think it’s worth the Money?? For you??

For me personally no I don’t. For someone who is just cleaning a few discs a month I think it’s great but I have over 200 discs that need to be resurfaced and some of them are well over $100 so it’s not worth the risk of damaging it on the JFJ. Hope this helped!

@@Edogplaysneed the right technique and softer buffing pads. Better than the industrial machines that cost $2-20k
