For all the tall Dj’s use a keyboardist / keyboard stand if your controller is big enough it sits up way higher and it’s easier to store and take on the go 👌🏿🎶🎶🎶🎶
Easier way to get an extra 6” of height: just place your flight case above the lid. You may need to remove the 4 rubber feet first though as most flight case bases have a ball in each corner to allow the base to fit snugly into the respective ball sockets of the lid. And there you have a stable way to raise your decks :)
I usually play quick sets (~90 minutes of fast hitting / mixing or live performance), my back won't hurt in that time too much, but my stage presence will look like shit
6'5" here -- always a struggle getting the booth high enough! :)
cool stuff thanks
You could add a screw a few inches down the homemade pvc pipes to act as a stop

Djtrekords I’m only 5’5 and like the height the keyboard stand gives me. Though I hardly ever use it. :(
neolightproductions what stand do you use when you do dj
4ft Mainstay Walmart folding table or a Proline x stand. Looks like it may be the PL400.
I really like the DIY PVC legs and there has to be a way to make a PVC stop out of PVC, maybe join 2 pieces with a connector.
Super helpful! gonna try the bed risers, was thinking about getting some egg crates but this is much more stable solution.
I got a pair of these and my table is completely stable and they have different height options
@@laurensmith8983 yeah I bought a pair and they are awesome!!
Needed this, thanks for the tips! This is going to help me so much for this wedding season.

Just saying...... Wouldn't it just be easy to buy a Case for your AKAI and stack the cover case on top.
1. looks nicer
2. keeps your stuff safe.
Thanks brotha I’m ordering bed risers now. Lol 🙏🏽
I've also used christmas tree tripods at the ends of table legs to reduce wobbling
What size pvc pipe are you using? Thanks!
I used metal tube from hardware store years ago.
Bed riser tip is A1
Keep it up!
What's the purpose of the side view camera? Just zoom out the front camera view to show what you're displaying!
itimmy101 I agree. It's disturbing.
ahahaha you're so right, that looked senseless lol
Just playing with some variation. 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for the information!
Neat hacks! Think I’ll give the pvc pipe trick a try!

How do you control your lights bro
Djshadow Inthemix I use QLC+ with a USB to DMX dongle. But these are just video lighting in said video, not stage lights.
Cool tips bro
Fix a thicc nail inside that pvc pipe, now you can use it on non-banded leg tables
Amazon “Lift Your Table”
48 inch the lowest i can do
I often use shoe boxes 😂
I like four feet tables
Too wobbly
What a silly video ... I can’t believe someone asked about how to raise his table... dude.. get a brick.
Dude wasting his time watching videos when he could be out looking for bricks at a construction site.
