    This tape projects poorly, he wins the first move then gets man handled almost every rep by different lineman on a middling Big 12 line. Came in with a top 20 expectation, first tape I've seen. Looks like a day 2 pick

    Thrilled to have him as a Buc!! I think he'll switch to end in our scheme

    Very few plays this dude didn't win his rep when he was 1v1. Probably deserved about 5 holding calls this game as well. Swim, spin, speed chop moves already there. plus first step, gain 10 lb and his bull rush will probably come around. Looks like a back-end first or early day 2 guy to me. This my first game of him for me so tbd..

      I think he should actually lose weight and become more of an edge rusher like a James Harrison

      I saw about 5-6 holding calls that's SHOULD'VE been called....not the oh you can call holding on every play type, I'm talking legit flag needs to come out.
      The other thing I takeaway is Pitt secondary was terrible zero playmakers

    I hear people saying ‘3rd down DL’ about this guy, but he’s clearly also good against the run!

      He's only the 15th unanimous All-American in Pitt football history. There are many similarities to Aaron Donald with how he plays. Not the pass rusher that Donald was in college, but he was getting double-teamed on most plays and is tremendous against the run. He's going to have a very nice NFL career.

      I mean he gets pushed around and pancaked on run plays as far as I can tell

    If this is what mid to late 1st round picks look like, then this class is awfully weak...barely noticeable the whole game

    From this game: he's and edge or B gap guy, needs more size IMO to play nose.

    He’s undersized for sure but he gets there. No run discipline but todays NFL that’s not the end of the world. Reach for sure but a good player with a rare interior skill

    what yall don't realize who are criticizing this young man is that he can t be blocked straight up. If you pair him with, say, another rusher who demands a double team then good God oh mighty...game wrecker

  • @quinntonexecute
    @quinntonexecute Год назад +1

    Doesn’t care about the run. He’s trying to get to the qb every play. When he gets to the nfl.. they teach him to not do that so much. Sometimes you have to keep integrity

    • @WFE-cl6yt
      @WFE-cl6yt Год назад +1

      How do you see that on film? I saw him take on his assignment like a dog almost every run play. Many times he’s following the shift on outside runs or fakes to take on his assignment paying no mind to the qb. That’s the definition of good run defense. Anticipating the flow of the run, guessing a little bit, then taking away the run lane even if it means you don’t get the tackle or glory. There was literally one play on him. The big near TD run where he gets doubled then held lol

    If he losses weight and gets played on the edge, he may be the return of James Harrison
