they shot the video at an old 1970s nuclear research facility, pretty incredible if you ask me. The song may have also been inspired by the passing of late father, Gerald "Duckie" Brown. Thus creating the emotion behind the song, whereas the insertion of Kanye was from Wordsplayed needing a strong male crutch, whom at the time was Kanye, though later WP realized his emotions had betrayed him, and so released the disclaimer with a two-tone purple background. It's the biggest mistake kids are making these days.
