Yeah some have grown up with a lot fewer perspectives than the rest of us, and that’s ok. At the end of the day, people will see what they look for and hear what they listen for. “Vitriolic jingoism can be far more prevalent than sober analysis, and to those ideologically focused, every slope is slippery, and every gray area becomes another shade of black n white.” - Quotes from Rare Earth

All materials are well organized, and you've done a terrific job in bringing history and all the untold stories together. As a HAN Chinese I was always curious about the life and culture of the ethnic Koreans in China, and all other ethnic groups as well, including Mongolians, Uigurs, Tibetans. Although we're of different ethnicities, at the end of the day we're all Chinese, living in the same great country we call home. I love my ethnic Korean/Uygur/Tibetan/Mongolian/Hui/Uzbeck/Tajik/Kygiz brothers. I hope all of us will live happily together now and in the future. All the best wishes to you also. THANK YOU!!

As a Korean Chinese who grew up in Heilongjiang and Yanbian, worked in Beijing and South Korea,
This video just pulls at heartstrings of mine.
I had always been thinking about my idendity since my childhood,
Complex emotions towards North Korean,South Korean and Chinese people(different yet connected),
My grandparents immigrated from Koera in the early 20th century,
went through hard times(japanese occupation, Chinese CivIl War, Korean war, Cultural Revolution).
One of my uncle went to North Korea in the 1970's and never came back.
as for me, car smuggling and refugees from North Korea, immigrant boom, K-pop, ethnic assimilation,
all theses became my 1990's memorial symbols.
Also recognize all the movie clips in this video, need to mention unfamous one,
(Tumen River,directed by a Korean Chinese, 장률).
    great work, so much appreciated.

Your documentaries serve as a great bridge between those that know the complexities of East Asia & people like myself that may not hear much East Asia.
No need to apologize on the views you have provided us. It’s important to hear various perspectives & not be completely ignorant towards one view. I thought otherwise, you’ve provided a neutral view on the 3 Koreas & shed a light on a region and its peoples that I never really considered.
All that to say, loved the watch from a Jordanian-Canadian!
