Eric, I have a problem. I have a Jax type of cat. He's big and beautiful and super affectionate, with eyes that could melt a heart of stone. I'm allergic to him. He wants to go outside, but I live in the city and couldn't bear to have him hit by a car. He craves adventure. Would you possibly consider rescuing him? Please let me know. I won't give him to just anybody, but I'd give him to you. It would break my heart and fill it at the same time.

Always remember, the bad days don't last and neither do the good days. You gave Jax a life any cat would LOVE to have. He had the best human a cat could ask for. Just know it's ok to cry, laugh, wallow, smile, frown, be angry and be happy. Don't forget Jax would not want you to miss out on life missing him, he will always be with you in spirit and heart.

Having lost my Fur Babies in a house fire last year, I know the pain and grief you are going through...It doesn't really go away, but it does get easier each day, and having Tara there I am sure helps a lot. As someone who has been following you and Jax for the last 6-7 years, I am very sorry for your loss. Hang in there and just take it one day at a time.
Actually you should get another kitty for Tara. Not to replace Jax because nothing could replace him but I think Tara probably misses him too. We can’t explain to our little friends what has happened but they are mourning also. 😿. And don’t ever feel bad about crying because we all are too. 😢. Dear Jax had become part of all our lives. ❤️. Gotta disagree with you on this. Jax was an only cat for quite some time, and they form a much tighter bond w/their human that way. Every kitty (and person) is different, of course. But I think replacing a pet right away is a mistake. Just my humble opinion. :)
I think that's a really personal decision. There's nothing wrong with a single pet, especially since Eric is there all the time, unlike leaving a pet 40+ hours a week to go to work. Eric is the only one that can know if and when it's time for another family member, just like it happened with Tera after years of being solo with Jax. ❤️
Eric got Jax since his birth. Jax chose him as an owner barely weeks since he was born. That is a tall order for any cat to fullfill the place Jax was filling.

We have our fur babies. We give them the very best life possible. And we grieve. Know that jax knew he was loved so very much. The biggest love is not letting our beloved fur babies suffer. Take care and take time.
We all cried for Jax. But he's gonna be there waiting for you, healthy and happy, when it's time for you to cross. He's got good company. My Charlie passed last year. And he's got all the friends that everyone here has lost over the past years.

When I lost my Lily i had for 15 years i put all my love into Bella a new rescue. She wasnt as cuddly as Lily but two years later Bella wont leave my side and is now is starting to want to cuddle.

I think it's good that you have Tara. When our 15-year-old senior dog died in August, we were both heart-broken. She was our only fur baby. We adopted a 6-month old rescue puppy, whose name is Allee. Before Allee, my heart hurt and I cried so much. Allee didn't replace Starry, but she has healed my heart, and she has become a real part of our lives. Eric, when our fur babies cross the rainbow bridge, it's so hard to go on, but you will always have such fond memories of Jax. Don't be afraid to cry and mourn Jax for as long as uyou need to.
We don't expect happy: just safe, healthy and taking your life one step at a time. God bless you and Tara. May Angels, kitty and otherwise, be with you for each of those steps. ❤

Eric, my heart drops every time I see you cry. I know that pain. I hand raised a beautiful cat named Patches, she was so smart. Every time she had kittens, which was only 2 times, buy she'd bring those kittens in the middle of the night to me in the bed, I'd wake up with kittens by my head, lol, she died at the age of 9 , in my arms, after I came home from work one night. The pain is real, it takes time, but I like to think maybe one day, when I'm in heaven, I might get to see all the pets I owned and loved over my lifetime. That God might say, Elaine, look over there, Patches wants love. Well..that's what I'd love to be able to do. But, it's ok to cry, I cry with you! God bless you!!

I know how you feel Eric. When I lost my Charlie, (you met him at Ocean Shores), I was devastated and thought of him constantly for several months. I lost him similarly to how you lost JAX, the veterinarian couldn't say what was wrong with him without extensive tests costing a couple thousand dollars and the vet simply said, I know how much you love him and how important he is to you but the reality is, Charlie is 17, he's diabetic, and he has other issues having lost 10 pounds rapidly. He's a very sick boy! The vet said we may be able to help him but it would only be for a short while and his quality of life wouldn't be good. Ultimately the decision was to put him to sleep, I was with him the entire time. Hardest, most painful thing I ever had to do but I owed it to him to be there and comfort him. So glad I did that for him, You could see his comfort in feeling my hand petting him and my voice comforting him. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. The decision was for him, not for me, I would have loved more time with him. He's buried in the yard with half a dozen other family pets going back to the mid 70's. We now have a little runt, Archie. Not the smartest cat, doesn't even answer to his name or "food" but he knows the sound of Greenies. Very sweet, funny playful little guy and he has made his own place in our hearts. Best wishes to you and Tara for a long happy future...

Definitely going to miss Jax... Hang in there, Eric. Grieving takes time. Don't let anyone try to tell you any different. While I have no pets and as such haven't lost a pet, I have however lost the ones I loved the most in this life... My Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa. The 3 people that raised me. Moving on without the ones you love is very hard. I still have my bad days and so will you. Someone once told me "It doesn't get easier, it just gets different" and I really think that's the case. You never get over missing your loved ones, you just learn to live without them. I'll leave you with is this... Years before my Mom died she told me "There will come a day when I'm gone but I will never fully leave you, I'll be with you in here" then she touched my chest where my heart is... and Eric? That's exactly where Jax will always be with you. Just remember that.

I really feel with you, Eric. Jax is very important to all of your followers. Just keep going as best you can, On another point that cell tower thing has been going on for years in that county . A lot of nomads feel as though they shouldn't vote locally. but it is important. Those local officials do make decisions that affect you even if you are on the road most of the time.

Hi Eric So good to see you giving Tara special attention. No doubt it would take some time. It took me over 2 good weeks and then it was a tad easier, and everybody is different .I like you probably....I saw mine everywhere where I use to see him . It will take a while. It might be harder for you, cause everytime you return to the RV, now his greeting you will still be there ...only in memory. And his pictures. I feel for ya.....I really do. Hang in there....only time will help the hurting to get less. My 2 are 11 years old right now and as I get older, we get even more emotional I think so dreading when that time comes for me. Anyway...stay busy maybe will help you deal some better and you can still get out in nature...which is good for the soul. Take care and just cuddle up Tara if she is up for it. Actually you should get another kitty for Tara. Not to replace Jax because nothing could replace him but I think Tara probably misses him too. Gotta disagree with you on this. Jax was an only cat for quite some time, and they form a much tighter bond w/their human that way. Every kitty (and person) is different, of course. But I think replacing a pet right away is a mistake. Just my humble opinion. :)
I think that's a really personal decision. There's nothing wrong with a single pet, especially since Eric is there all the time, unlike leaving a pet 40+ hours a week to go to work. Eric is the only one that can know if and when it's time for another family member, just like it happened with Tera after years of being solo with Jax. ❤️
I got mine lots of toys. Then another kitten. Ya never know what tomorrow brings.
Eric got Jax since his birth. Jax chose him as an owner barely weeks since he was born. That is a tall order for any cat to fullfill the place Jax was filling.

When I lost my Lily i had for 15 years i put all my love into Bella a new rescue. She wasnt as cuddly as Lily but two years later Bella wont leave my side and is now is starting to want to cuddle.

I think it's good that you have Tara. When our 15-year-old senior dog died in August, we were both heart-broken. She was our only fur baby. We adopted a 6-month old rescue puppy, whose name is Allee. Before Allee, my heart hurt and I cried so much. Allee didn't replace Starry, but she has healed my heart, and she has become a real part of our lives. Eric, when our fur babies cross the rainbow bridge, it's so hard to go on, but you will always have such fond memories of Jax. Don't be afraid to cry and mourn Jax for as long as uyou need to.
We don't expect happy: just safe, healthy and taking your life one step at a time.

Eric, my heart drops every time I see you cry. I know that pain. I hand raised a beautiful cat named Patches, she was so smart. Every time she had kittens, which was only 2 times, buy she'd bring those kittens in the middle of the night to me in the bed, I'd wake up with kittens by my head, lol, she died at the age of 9 , in my arms, after I came home from work one night. The pain is real, it takes time, but I like to think maybe one day, when I'm in heaven, I might get to see all the pets I owned and loved over my lifetime. That God might say, Elaine, look over there, Patches wants love. Well..that's what I'd love to be able to do. But, it's ok to cry, I cry with you! God bless you!!

I know how you feel Eric. When I lost my Charlie, (you met him at Ocean Shores), I was devastated and thought of him constantly for several months. I lost him similarly to how you lost JAX, the veterinarian couldn't say what was wrong with him without extensive tests costing a couple thousand dollars and the vet simply said, I know how much you love him and how important he is to you but the reality is, Charlie is 17, he's diabetic, and he has other issues having lost 10 pounds rapidly. He's a very sick boy! The vet said we may be able to help him but it would only be for a short while and his quality of life wouldn't be good. Ultimately the decision was to put him to sleep, I was with him the entire time. Hardest, most painful thing I ever had to do but I owed it to him to be there and comfort him. So glad I did that for him, You could see his comfort in feeling my hand petting him and my voice comforting him. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. The decision was for him, not for me, I would have loved more time with him. He's buried in the yard with half a dozen other family pets going back to the mid 70's. We now have a little runt, Archie. Not the smartest cat, doesn't even answer to his name or "food" but he knows the sound of Greenies. Very sweet, funny playful little guy and he has made his own place in our hearts. Best wishes to you and Tara for a long happy future...

Definitely going to miss Jax... Hang in there, Eric. Grieving takes time. Don't let anyone try to tell you any different. While I have no pets and as such haven't lost a pet, I have however lost the ones I loved the most in this life... My Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa. The 3 people that raised me. Moving on without the ones you love is very hard. I still have my bad days and so will you. Someone once told me "It doesn't get easier, it just gets different" and I really think that's the case. You never get over missing your loved ones, you just learn to live without them. I'll leave you with is this... Years before my Mom died she told me "There will come a day when I'm gone but I will never fully leave you, I'll be with you in here" then she touched my chest where my heart is... and Eric? That's exactly where Jax will always be with you. Just remember that.

I really feel with you, Eric. Jax is very important to all of your followers. Just keep going as best you can, On another point that cell tower thing has been going on for years in that county . A lot of nomads feel as though they shouldn't vote locally. but it is important. Those local officials do make decisions that affect you even if you are on the road most of the time.

It might be harder for you, cause everytime you return to the RV, now his greeting you will still be there ...only in memory.

My 2 are 11 years old right now and as I get older, we get even more emotional I think so dreading when that time comes for me.
