one of my favourite character's from era was Rebecca Fisher, played by late Belinda Emmett did she leave home and away due to breast cancer? was only like 33 when she died.
Thank you for all of these. I vaguely remember Chris Hale as I was only 10 in ‘96 or this may have been shown in ‘97 in the U.K., not sure, but I don’t remember Chris being revealed as the one who knocked Shane off his bike. Can’t help but feel bad for him. I loved Home and Away in the mid-90s. Still do, but the mid-90s for both Home & Away and Neighbours were iconic. Also I remember Selina being played by the different actress and it’s amazing that they got someone so similar, in my opinion, to replace Tempany Deckert. Angel was one of my favourite characters. It’s a shame Melissa George doesn’t seem that nice…
I think the years 1986, 1995, 2004, 2013 & 2022 were iconic for Neighbours, whilst the years 1989, 1998, 2007, 2016 & next year in 2025 are iconic for Home And Away.
The uploads were excellent, thank you 😎. Angel is one of my favorite characters. I really liked that we got to see plenty of people/characters in these clips. I remember reading that Chris was the one that knocked Shane on his bike so the clips weren't as intriguing for me.
Poor angel. She is a good mother and you can see she misses Shane. He was such a good dad and great to her. She trusted Chris and he betrayed her although the cops who spiked her should be held accountable
I agree about the cops who spiked his drink! That always bugged me. Chris was still very wrong not to own up and then become increasingly corrupt, but initially it wasn't his fault.
@@boldbeautifulau No, just a caption at the end of each episode during her run. (The beginning would have made more sense, and they did this for Ailsa in 2000).
Yeah sometimes this happened in the early days, a well-meaning character makes a huge mistake and the whole town turns on them. I get that they all loved Shane and it was a stupid thing for Chris to hit and run, but I sort of felt sorry for him at the same time. I think it was a clever way to give Chris an exit storyline and keep Angel front and centre after Shane died, she's just so engaging.
I did wonder to be honest. It was stupid of Chris to run Shane off his bike and I get now why the whole town turned on him as in effect they blame him for Shane's death. I get it now.
To be fair though I would be annoyed if someone killed my family member in a hit and run. But I think people are right to say that the ones who spiked his drink should be held accountable too.
Selina ringing Centrelink & speaking to them straight away 😂😂 yep only in tv land 😮
Loving this Angel series. She was one of the best.
Remember episode memories many thanks.

To be fair, the kid was better off without a dumbbell like Shane as a dad.
Hi, can you post Shannon and Mandy story??? Please? Start on 1778.
He says his drink was spiked. Its scary how one mistake can completely turn your life upside down.
I felt sorry for Chris in this whole storyline.
Me too. He was deep down a good guy but the whole town turned on him.
Will there be a part 5?
That's all I'm doinbg for the moment - this was Chris Hale's final scene, he wasn't seen again after this.
@@SummerBayJournal oh ok
If anyone tells me to go like that they can do one
As recasts go she’s pretty similar to real Selina
That's Scott McGregor
Baby Isla Fisher
Why is there a random girl playing Selina????
The normal actress fell ill very suddenly and it was too short notice to rewrite the scripts so they had to recast temporarily.
@@SummerBayJournal thank you!!+
Did they voiceover her first scene to announce the temporary change?

damn the producers for killing of Shane!!!
Shane was a bell-end
To be fair, the kid was better off without a dumbbell like Shane as a dad.
That's not nice them at the school just wanting constable garner to give road safety talk. Everyone is being mean to Chris.

Why he was corrupt he killed shane

Why is everyone ignoring Chris. Its not nice ignoring people.

Fake Selina!
Yep, this one sucked like a faded photocopy.
