I literally never recognized it until now.....I always remembered Return of Lucien for its other motif, not the one at the beginning. Now with Battle of Forinthry out, it's all coming together... When I think of Return of Lucien I am always thinking of the part starting here: ruclips.net/video/bGOO7E-BQz4/видео.html
Ohh I did not expect to hear any old school type music in a new soundtrack tbh. I hope they'll continue to do lil nods like this in music pieces. Dis feels like an actual rs piece (like it used to in 2010, ukwim)
@@Sarah_Kinz I do not agree with your last statement (RS music shouldn't have "an official feeling", if it's in the game then it's already an actual RS piece!) but yeah, I'm happy they decided to do that in this song, a really nice surprise indeed
If somehow, someone can't hear it, set the video playback speed to "2", you may hear it a bit more clearly, however, as iconic as that leitmotif is, i doubt you'll need it, but just in case.
This would have made a better track for the Zamorak Fight. It has everything a boss track should have, it builds up nicely and has great middle section that would blend perfectly with the Voicelines.
It has to do with what the story was and what the characters felt at the time. The Zamorak boss was after Twilight of the Gods at the end of the Elder God Wars. So the music is more melancholic reflecting the long struggles both Zamorak and the World Guardian had on their respective journeys. It's a farewell to the gods and the Sixth Age. The Moia track being more intense and upbeat signals a new chapter in which she unites Zamorak's forces and grows into his successor. She isn't a seasoned general, she's just getting started.
Honestly when I heard this song while confronting Moia, I thought was gonna fight her and wasn't fully prepared for it. Hopefully we will in the future.
Poor Moia, from being mistreated by Lucian, to being tortured by the horror crystals at Halloween 2018, and to losing Zamorak who's the only mahjarrat deeply cares for her, she went through a lot and regradless of her actions, I can't blame her for being angry. I hope we get a quest where we can not only fight her but also save her from one person and only one person from her,.....herself. 😞😞😞
Humanity has rediscovered fire for the second time (first was Glory of Combat).
Third time* first was sea shanty 2 back in the old days
You know what they say.. Like father like daughter.
When “Return of Lucien” started playing, this track went from 10 to 1000. Too epic!
agreed

This slaps, did not expect!
Remixed themes from the wilderness and Lucien returns... damn fire job from Jagex.
3:49 return of lucien!!!
Great find! I have a bad feeling that despite her daddy issues she might be on similarly self-destructive path as her father...

@@paapa300 The difference is that she's not solely loyal to herself

The cool thing is that we can choose our tracks so yeah I'll be rocking this on my Zammy Solos from now on, i rate this one a 9/10.

Rs music has come a long way...
Damn this sounds epic.
sounds like some epic battlefield

Nymora is NOT going to be happy...
Moia will soon learn why she is known as the Vengeful
We saw the future in Once Upon a Time, she very much was not happy at the death of her sister.
Welp, this aged like milk
What a banger
WHAT IS WRONG WITH RUNESCAPE INSTRUMENTALS THEY'RE SO GODDAMN GREAT
nothing will beat family but this song does a damn good attempt at trying.
Amazing work as usual!
Amazing work! Sounds somewhat Westworldy at some points, and like a medieval adventure at others.
It's good to know that the blandness of "Holy Zamorak" was just a fluke.
Indeed
Amazing Track!
hihii kindred
This is very, very good. :)
She's kind of beautiful looking
She does have very luscious hair
The artists really knew what they were doing huh
@@nickman287 I understood that reference
This track sounds much more suited to the Zamorak fight, surprised they didn't use this one for it. Still an incredible piece, nevertheless.
i do not think so, it suits Moia more for being stigmatized as Lesser Mahjarrat. Looking for a way which craves for revenge
epic
i wish this was at 4k telos 4k zamorak and 4k glacor
Reminds me of the Draenei from WoW
I need to know who is the composer of this 🙌🏻
Pincho luis, pues no es nadie mas ni nadie menos que Julian Surma, maestro de maestros, un tesoro nacional diría yo, jeje.
sounds like a gow song
