I am reminded of how awesome the protagonist's victory is. Winning by disconnecting the top half of your mech from it's legs at the last second is such a memorable move. It's so unexpected and such a desperation move, yet it takes advantage of the entire point of Armored Cores, modularity.

You also forget that there's allot of work that goes into CG elements and story bits that make portions of games a very cinematic experience. As such those who handle those portions could easily be called upon to bring life to a script, especially when the more recent AC games have had some more well planned out screen play.
for answer stole my heart. best armored core i've played so far. nexus seems to be the beginning to a new style of ac combat. i notice nexus is way more fast paced if you modify the boosters and have leg turning speed and braking on. and if you have the quick turn extensions you'll be basically playing a alpha version of armored core 4

I developed a condition I like to call Pilots cramp when playing the early games a lot. After prolonged play times my left wrist would cramp up for the next few days if I tried doing anything with it.

Why don't they actually make an anime of Armored Core I mean the game has such popularity so why can't they so it. Look at S.S./S.E. they made FFVII Advent Children so it makes sense they have an Armored Core anime/movie detailing the life of FromSoftware's "Longest" title.
armored core is by far the best mech game series because mechwarrior sucks balls and almost all mech games on the ps3/xbox are made by the company that makes Armored Core
hand if you look more its similar of a fps no? if you play whit first player mode^^ i play whit it its a little bit harder because its more precis but I am not habituated whit it^^
Sorry to tell you there isn't, this is a fan animation based on the PS2/PSP game, Armored Core Last Raven, developed by From Software (You know, Dark Souls?) This is I think their second longest running franchise, if not the first, spanning all the way from the PSOne era to PS3 and XBox 360
K thanks...I think that if there is a show, there would be more story to the game franchise, Armored Core 3 and the Controller in it is a good example.

God, I cannot begin to describe how much I liked Last Raven. The new games aren't terrible, but they definitely aren't the Armored Core I fell in love with.
Do you mean that in terms of gameplay or art or what? Honestly, I think it's all fantastic. The story is a political drama about the power of individuals and the meaning of humanity, played out without the use of characters with names, faces, or sometimes voices. The mechanical design is a beautiful example of level 2 mechs (out of 5 levels: more realistic than gundam[3] but more fantastic than mech-warrior[1]). The music is REAL music, not just BGM loops. The gameplay varies game to game-
never seen gundam unicorn but I have heard of it. But that sucks the idea was scraped. the two original cores would've been perfect. by the way why do they hate each other it's not like theyre brothers who will kill for ones respect and to see who is better.
but if you take the time to get used to the controlls of any one of them, you'll find they really contribute to the gameplay. Even 4 & 4A which have weird controlls, but once you get into it, you start to understand why they are how they are. The level design is pretty masterful with missions ranging from 30 seconds in duration to a satisfying, adrenaline-extended 2 minutes, each requiring you to find your own approach to acheive victory and honing
