i think we should of seen more of that Houdini smoke simulation but you cut it off more than expected in its post production rendering

Shadow of the FPV drone was awesome! The whole thing was awesome! You've got a great eye for putting a dynamically composed edit flow and shot sequence together. This kind of stuff as a proof of concept/animatic would/could/should go a long way in getting you a directing gig on a live action car shoot for a major brand. Or at the very least, working as a top tier pre-viz expert. Great work.
Thanks so much! Yeah I work in post production and recently we started doing pre-production too, so I did some previzes for Nissan commercials and it was fire! Director liked it and we had few shots made one to one from previz.

Yes! UE 5.1-5.2 has vdb plugin and it is possible to put in UE. All rendered in Unreal and color graded in DaVinci resolve

Great video! I see you are using A Big City Sample a lot. Is there a way to see the traffic in a sequence or control it? I set up an animation as you had taught in your great tutorials and found out my car moving through other cars in a city traffic only in Davinci🙈😂
Unfortunately you can't control traffic, I always remove them and add cars myself for traffic, otherwise it is just... collides with the the car and spawns randomly

Thanks! The smoke sim was done in Houdini. Niagara is powerless for such cool scenarios.

It was done in Houdini, exported as VDB and all rendered in Unreal

I'm interested how you achieved the VDB look so cool in UE. From my experience Sparse VDB plugin is not really cool from optimization and visual point of view. The film is really amazing though 🤩

Both, some shots are lumen, some are path tracing. The smoke scenes are lumen ) I am using some tricks to fake it )
