This unit is absurd. Not only is she doing 600k superbreak skills, HTB is also doing 120k damage per skill, Gallagher and Ruan Mei also do a little superbreak too, all of this at E0S1. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is probably the strongest team in the game now bar none, what the actual hell is this legitimately nuclear damage.
@@entsensei No Jiaoqui is for Acheron and his little heal isn't enough to sustain your team if you want to replace Gallagher plus Gallagher helps a lot with the breaking while also doing damage and you can't replace either HMC and RM.
You should have done an E0S1 vs E1S0 FF showcase, cause while the Sig LC does provide the most optimal damage, if your FF can hit 210+ SPD, she will use lots of skill points, even with SP positive characters, and the Def Reduction scales well, too. EDIT: Typo correction
For the most part I think E2 Firefly is for those who like to 0cycle MoC or for those players who doesn't have a good speed boots and runs an attack percent boots. E1 definitely is a game changer because you have more SP reserves than with just E0 plus the 15% Def shred will help deal more damage alongside the relic set. Signature lightcone is replaceable and I think getting E1 first is better for that comfort zone when using her enhanced skill and not worrying about SP consumption as much with E0.

Maybe this isn't feasible, but you mentioned Fall as an option for her. Are you able to showcase the damage/clears as you did with Ruan Mei with like the next best options? F2P friendly and perhaps 4 star gacha/standard LC when applicable? Edit: To be clear, I mean in future pre-release showcases.
You need to bring someone who actually does toughness damage to the stage in RM's place, otherwise you delay the clear too much. Pela is not the pick here just because of the def shred when she's off-element, it's important to make full use of toughness damage without the 50% efficiency boost.
Yup Asta or SW are gonna be good replacements but you will need to speed tune them so it's not gonna be so easy. I'm looking at the harmony or nihility LCs and hoping to find some spicy tech. But I genuinely think Ruan Mei is not completely necessary

Even a fast guinaifen helps if the Asta bounce rng is giving someone trouble, despite Asta's speed boost being more valuable, similarly Himeko's followup with this many elites might just close the gap enough too, there are a decent amount of options. What kind of tech are you looking for btw?

Even harder than Acheron. -very easy to build -just need HTB which is free -can deal high consistent dmg -can literally be use against all enemies since she can easily implant fire weakness. And soon another new dps is gonna break the meta so hard again. I won't be surprise if in the future there would be a character that can deal 10M easily on E0S1.

I'd say unless you absolutely have to have firefly &/or Hate Ruan Mei. Pull her before you Pull Firefly. She will have a Far smoother performance with Ruan Mei then without her and your MOC performance will be drastically Improved. (If you have Ruan Mei you don't have to worry, Just pull FIrefly and your GG)
No, you just need to build the team properly. The reason the clear is slowed so much is Pela being off-element. Gallagher already does a lot of the bar depletion work, but HMC and Pela do too little, at that point you're stuck with a very slow rotation (that STILL clears comfortably in 3 cycles which by any metric means you DON'T need RM)

I'm interested in trying this new type of DPS cuz the thing I notice about Super Break DPS is that their damage will always be absolute because they don't depend on Crit gacha. Hope other characters in the future will have this kind of mechanic
Real problem here is that this moc is designed to shill Firefly by giving her a trotter to do double actions with whenever her ult goes down. Imagine how painful a no RM run would be if that trotter wasn't around.
It's not gonna mislead people, or be painful, it will be just normal like every other time. That said, I hate trotter turbulences, every time they come around the same thing happens. This one is to stack boothill faster and make FF dominate turns, the previous one was to put even more dots on the enemies, the previous-previous one was for Dan and Seele to perform better, and they all get in the way of bounce skills, even blast skills if they spawn between enemies.

I think you needed to show team without HMC just to show how huge difference is. Firefly basically enables HMC to deal damage with ult intsead of HMC allowing her to deal damage.
16:44 To be honest, I think the problem of not having Ruan Mei is more about the break efficiency than her dmg buff, because this dmg was also withou Pela ultimate. But I also think that in this scenario Asta would be better. More Speed/DDD for firefly, she would help break and her Atk% buff would increase Firefly Break Effect (that I know that Mr. Pokke didnt show probably because the text is bugged saying that it increases 0% B.Effect)
It is. Speeding up the break is enough, if you don't have RM's efficiency buff you just need to compensate with another on-element unit. On that attack buff part, iirc the increase is a snapshot when you enter battle, so buffs don't apply for the conversion, it has to be on your stat sheet. Not sure if that was changed with the later versions. Asta still better for toughness damage and speed, if speed is not necessary for the clear someone can even bust out a Guinaifen for controlled toughness damage instead of the bounce rng (in multi target fights like this, in single target bounce is always better). Hell, even Himeko for followup abuse against multiple elites, though her being slower than Gui probably makes FF still need her turn more often.
Break efficiency does actually equal more damage for superbreak. It's based on the amount of toughness damage you do (to the break bar,) so Ruan Mei increasing break efficiency means you are doing more toughness damage. That's why she provides so much more damage.
@@JohnDoe-si4eg The delay is a bad thing for break teams, but the solution is superbreak. In this clear you can see the delay isn't necessary, things just die. When an efficiency character comes out without the delay, the teams will go into 2 branches.
would love to have seen this with asta as the second support in the no ruan mei team. Feels like the fire based character that buffs speed and attack which are both phenomenal for firefly would have been a good support to check out.
So are every E6S5 dps owners, for the first couple hours at least. E6S5'ing a chara is like an actual drug lmfao, all for a short intake of dopamine, cause afterwards, I don't see much enjoyment in oneshotting everything the game has to offer

Why E6S5 a DPS (Other then why whales & dedicated people do it) when you can put at least some of that Vertical Investment into a Support and Boost all of your teams which that support is good for.

The vid showed me that you dont need ruan mei to clear. 3 cycles is still within a good run for a 3 star clear. It did show me that ruan mei can make firefly better, but honestly there is no difference in rewards between a 0 cycle and a 3 cycle that I feel like the statement of "you don't need ruan mei" is still true.
Finally someone sane, and that was basically 3 cycles with a 3-man clear because Pela was doing jack-shit for the most part. Momentum is the most important thing for break.

Keep in mind, this is based on the current MoC that INSANELY buffs break damage. I know this because I was hitting over 400k with my Boothill and he's E0 without his sig lightcone. But like Kafka, I think Firefly will be a focal point for break teams in the future like harmony MC, so there is a chance that they still shine in any future event with mob waves like MoC or Pure Fiction. But let's be real, we'll pull anyway because she is precious.

Anyone better suited for break teams needs to do MORE than that and also be as free as firefly to purely build break effect with very little need for speed and also somehow utilising some main stat from Rope and Body. Firefly will be power creeped solely when they make someone as fast as her with Toughness Reduction increase in their kit rather than Weakness Break efficiency or if they make someone with higher single hit Toughness damage than fully stacked Boothill AND a Bronya that buffs break units instead. And honestly we are more likely to get a better super break support than Harmony MC or just a more specialised break support than Ruan Mei with her ton of DMG%
I have a friend who has access to the test server and he tested Firefly with F2P lightcones... 1 cycle current MOC. I find it funny that her best teammate is harmony trailblazer edit: the only downside I can see with Firefly is that she is the most reliant on breaking the enemy toughness bar. Which means if you don't break fast enough against the monkey or Bronya, they'll just hide their weakness bar and you'll be doing effectively wet noodles amount of damage.
He still cleared in 3 cycles so not getting her isn't the end of the world the real problem is running firefly without HMC. Them being free is probably the reason why no one is concerned but they may be cases where you want to use HMC for someone else.
He works between Twitch and RUclips, so he can't focus primarily on yt, and he already has 93k close 100k, and Mr.pokke's content is interesting, so I'm sure he can reach 500k
This video alone makes me want to not only pull for Firefly and her LC but also pull for Ruan Mei and her LC too. Hopefully, I can pull all of them early as much as I can.
The good thing is RM doesn't actually need her LC it's just an added bonus. If you get S4/S5 Memories of the Past while pulling for FF LC it's as good (or better in some situations) than RM LC. Memories gives you a constant three turn rotation.
And here I thought there won't be any insane units like Acheron for quite a while. I'm guessing there will be a Harmony or Hunt that synergize well with HP consuming units like Blade and Arlan in the future. Kinda like HMC for toughness break team, and Topaz for follow up attacks team.

Should be, since according to some tester Hanya atk buff works great on her (which is in battle buff), the fleet of ageless is also in battle buff so there you go.
I like how I barely cleared this MoC (in exactly 10 cycles) with an Acheron first half, follow up second half team. Seeing my Acheron do 500k-600k ults at e1s1 (with FX 90/230 and both Pela/SW def downs) and now these super break units deal somewhat comparable dmg to that but on almost every attack... bruh. On a positive note, glad to see the miscommunication blunder did not result and you losing access.

Today I learned from this video to use Gallagher's basic attack first, then use the ultimate and then the enhanced basic attack for more toughness bar damage. lol
Yeah, that's the most amount of toughness bar damage he can dish out, but sometimes it's not the optimal move to do that due to Firefly's blitzing speed shuffling the characters turn sequence around

Real problem here is that this moc is designed to shill Firefly by giving her a trotter to do double actions with whenever her ult goes down. Imagine how painful a no RM run would be if that trotter wasn't around.

It's not gonna mislead people, or be painful, it will be just normal like every other time.
That said, I hate trotter turbulences, every time they come around the same thing happens. This one is to stack boothill faster and make FF dominate turns, the previous one was to put even more dots on the enemies, the previous-previous one was for Dan and Seele to perform better, and they all get in the way of bounce skills, even blast skills if they spawn between enemies.
It's the same for every MoC. I don't know what point you are trying to make here

@@27Ganon It doesn't, it's all the same. You're just witnessing the effectiveness of a break character for the first time. Throughout a year players made their own setups, now there are tailored units and turbulences to the playstyle which makes it all unhinged. Now you get to see the appeal.
I think you needed to show team without HMC just to show how huge difference is. Firefly basically enables HMC to deal damage with ult intsead of HMC allowing her to deal damage.

But I also think that in this scenario Asta would be better. More Speed/DDD for firefly, she would help break and her Atk% buff would increase Firefly Break Effect (that I know that Mr. Pokke didnt show probably because the text is bugged saying that it increases 0% B.Effect)

It is. Speeding up the break is enough, if you don't have RM's efficiency buff you just need to compensate with another on-element unit.
On that attack buff part, iirc the increase is a snapshot when you enter battle, so buffs don't apply for the conversion, it has to be on your stat sheet. Not sure if that was changed with the later versions. Asta still better for toughness damage and speed, if speed is not necessary for the clear someone can even bust out a Guinaifen for controlled toughness damage instead of the bounce rng (in multi target fights like this, in single target bounce is always better). Hell, even Himeko for followup abuse against multiple elites, though her being slower than Gui probably makes FF still need her turn more often.
RM’s biggest advantage is the break delay. Second is the break efficiency.
Break efficiency does actually equal more damage for superbreak. It's based on the amount of toughness damage you do (to the break bar,) so Ruan Mei increasing break efficiency means you are doing more toughness damage. That's why she provides so much more damage.
@@JohnDoe-si4eg The delay is a bad thing for break teams, but the solution is superbreak. In this clear you can see the delay isn't necessary, things just die. When an efficiency character comes out without the delay, the teams will go into 2 branches.
As a boothill and future firefly main, i'm so glad that firefly doesn't REQUIRE ruan mei
would love to have seen this with asta as the second support in the no ruan mei team. Feels like the fire based character that buffs speed and attack which are both phenomenal for firefly would have been a good support to check out.

Why E6S5 a DPS (Other then why whales & dedicated people do it) when you can put at least some of that Vertical Investment into a Support and Boost all of your teams which that support is good for.

The vid showed me that you dont need ruan mei to clear. 3 cycles is still within a good run for a 3 star clear.
It did show me that ruan mei can make firefly better, but honestly there is no difference in rewards between a 0 cycle and a 3 cycle that I feel like the statement of "you don't need ruan mei" is still true.
Finally someone sane, and that was basically 3 cycles with a 3-man clear because Pela was doing jack-shit for the most part. Momentum is the most important thing for break.

Keep in mind, this is based on the current MoC that INSANELY buffs break damage. I know this because I was hitting over 400k with my Boothill and he's E0 without his sig lightcone. But like Kafka, I think Firefly will be a focal point for break teams in the future like harmony MC, so there is a chance that they still shine in any future event with mob waves like MoC or Pure Fiction.
But let's be real, we'll pull anyway because she is precious.
Firefly is definitely no kafka, she just does damage. She's easily the most replacable part of the team.

Between technique skill and enhanced skill with Ruan Mei she deals 690 toughness damage single target(or 230 with the new ingame numbers) in the first cycle, and if ending wave 1 in enhanced state wave 2 it is 600(as we technically miss out on a single instance of normal skill). Anyone better suited for break teams needs to do MORE than that and also be as free as firefly to purely build break effect with very little need for speed and also somehow utilising some main stat from Rope and Body.
Firefly will be power creeped solely when they make someone as fast as her with Toughness Reduction increase in their kit rather than Weakness Break efficiency or if they make someone with higher single hit Toughness damage than fully stacked Boothill AND a Bronya that buffs break units instead. And honestly we are more likely to get a better super break support than Harmony MC or just a more specialised break support than Ruan Mei with her ton of DMG%
I have a friend who has access to the test server and he tested Firefly with F2P lightcones... 1 cycle current MOC. I find it funny that her best teammate is harmony trailblazer
edit: the only downside I can see with Firefly is that she is the most reliant on breaking the enemy toughness bar. Which means if you don't break fast enough against the monkey or Bronya, they'll just hide their weakness bar and you'll be doing effectively wet noodles amount of damage.
That's why u bring gallagher to ur team he will help break the monkey the amount of toughness dmg he does especially at e6

Them being free is probably the reason why no one is concerned but they may be cases where you want to use HMC for someone else.

This video alone makes me want to not only pull for Firefly and her LC but also pull for Ruan Mei and her LC too. Hopefully, I can pull all of them early as much as I can.
The good thing is RM doesn't actually need her LC it's just an added bonus. If you get S4/S5 Memories of the Past while pulling for FF LC it's as good (or better in some situations) than RM LC. Memories gives you a constant three turn rotation.
With E4, minor trace and talent, she should be immune to debuff.

Should be, since according to some tester Hanya atk buff works great on her (which is in battle buff), the fleet of ageless is also in battle buff so there you go.
It's not worth it since the new planar gives more than that anyways plus the substats

I like how I barely cleared this MoC (in exactly 10 cycles) with an Acheron first half, follow up second half team. Seeing my Acheron do 500k-600k ults at e1s1 (with FX 90/230 and both Pela/SW def downs) and now these super break units deal somewhat comparable dmg to that but on almost every attack... bruh. On a positive note, glad to see the miscommunication blunder did not result and you losing access.
