I'm pretty sure the twilight sepulchre guard deal is temporary. I believe gallus is released from service at the end of the questline. You don't know how long you'll be there but it's not necessarily forever
I feel like the answer of this is really simple: Depending on what happens to a character in the story, their race and what they stick with when they die, where they'll go when they die is dependent on their unity towards, well, whatever and their race. A better way to explain: Vampires = Coldharbour Lycanthropes = Hunting Grounds Nords = Sovngarde Imperials = Imperial Heaven Orcs = Probably Malacath's plane Argonians = The Hist Bretons = Breton Heaven Redguards = Hell (jk; probably their version of Heaven) Khajiit = Khajiit Heaven Altmer = Aetherius Bosmer = Aetherius (or Bosmer Heaven) Dunmer = Aetherius (or Dunmer Heaven) DB Assassins = The Void Nightingales = Twilight Sepulcher and then Nocturnal's Realm Anybody who holds extreme devotion to any Daedric Prince = the realm of the Daedric Prince they hold their dedication to. Of course, the fact that the player character in any game (or just Morrowind through Skyrim) can dedicate an allegiance to any and all Daedric and Divine pretty much over complicates things. Sometimes I'd imagine a scenario in which a majority of the Princes would actually start brawling about who gets the Dragonborn when they die. Molag Bal v. Hircine v. Boethiah v. Azura v. Meridia v. Nocturnal v. Malacath v. ... You get the point.

Hunting Grounds for me. To be one with nature, to roam her open and endless expanses, to hunt the quarry within... that sounds heavenly, in a way.

I think I'd like to go to Hircine's afterlife, to hunt forever.
Joseph Paterson same here
I’ll join in the hunt.
Ok but consider that it is also the realm of furries.
Although to me that is a plus.
You forget in game the Hunt goes both ways. You hunt and you are hunted...
Even as a hunter myself that would be a bad way to spend eternity. I'd rather go to Sovengarde much more beautiful scenery and good fun.
So, Malacath's afterlife is basically an eternal RTS-like existence with base building and managing, while commanding your minions and having your personal harem, but the advantage is, you can never lose at all. I like it
List of afterlives I would consider ascending into:
1st place:Heaven(Imperial Afterlife) - Sounds peaceful
2nd place:Llesw'er(Khajiit Afterlife) - Sounds peaceful.
3rd place:Ashen Forge(Orc Afterlife) - Chief and wives! Yes I except you into my heart Malacath!
4th place:Psijic Endeavour(Dunmeri Afterlife) - It would essentially be just living on, nothing would change.
5th place:Dreamsleeve - I might be able to resurrect, and I do love life.
6th place:Aetherius(Bosmeri Afterlife) - It sounds decent.
7th place:Shivering Isles(Sheogorath worshipers Afterlife) - It sounds decent.
8th place:Far Shores(Redguard/Yokudan Afterlife) - It sounds decent.
And all the other afterlives can shove it.
The Psijic Endeavor isn't just about living on, it's about trying to achieve CHIM which is basically becoming a living God. You basically unlock Creative Mode.
It reloads your latest save
Unless you ironmaned yourself, or whatever.
I've never understood this topic. One minute everyone is reincarnating, but the next you have Azura having to intervene in order to reincarnate Nerevar. One minute stepping foot on a Daedric shrine sends you straight to hell, and the next you have the Khajit pantheon mixing Aedra and Daedra.

Here we go again...
He's literally the Loki of the elder scrolls universe.
He shares parallels with Loki, but he's not entirely based on him. If you know anything about Clavicus, then you'd know that he can be honorable in his dealings with mortals.
Nexerous yeah, like that one redguard hero who beat him in a battle of wits for (I think, I’m not sure) his sister, he kept his word and returned her to him. Although if you truly know clavicus vile then you also know can be kind of a prick
@@momgirlcop1 Yeah, he has his moments where he's an asshole, but that's every Daedric Prince. Vile's not as bad as the fandom makes him out to be. And he's not even viewed as evil by mortals in Tamriel. He's actually one of the more tame Princes.
Nexerous yeah, if anything even if you ignore the honorable dealings he has, he’s not Molag bal or meruens Dagon who regularly try and conquer the world.
i think Akatosh let Dovahkiin to pledge his soul to every other gods, so the vacuum of power will stay in balance. Akatosh ain't dumb to give Dovahkiin with his own blood flowing through to some Daedric princes and the conclusion is: no one can take over the Dovahkiin soul he/she can simply back to Akatosh.

@@yungmalaria they have shamens which is a religious title and are clearly shown to be sentient albeit primitive with there tool use farming and social structure. They even had a war in oblivion over stolen religious totems.
Goblins worship Jack Skeleton and go to Halloween town when they die. It's what happens when Todd Howard and Tim Burton mate.
They go to Malacath, if I'm not mistaking. I don't remember if this particular aspect was addressed in any TES game, but _I think_ they, just like the Orsimer, Ogres, and maybe Giants go to Malacath.
They belong to Malacath, they are still not black souled mortals though,they have white souls
I think the Dovahkiin's soul probably goes to either Kyne or Akatosh, as Kyne seems to have created the concecpt of the the Voice (Thu'um?) and Akatosh seems to be able to create Dragonbornes/Dovahkiin whenever he wants. (Probably due to him being a dragon).

Idk about the rest of you, but it seems to me that when you die in this game, if your a citizen you are reborn as a wooden box called "coffin", if your any1 else you eventually despawn and get shoved into a small, isolated room with a lot of other dead bodies (cleanup cell)
Actually being caught in the dream whatever, gives the best chance remake your character into hammerfell.
I'm pretty sure the twilight sepulchre guard deal is temporary. I believe gallus is released from service at the end of the questline. You don't know how long you'll be there but it's not necessarily forever
Hunting grounds because werewolf...ftw
I feel like the answer of this is really simple:
Depending on what happens to a character in the story, their race and what they stick with when they die, where they'll go when they die is dependent on their unity towards, well, whatever and their race.
A better way to explain:
Vampires = Coldharbour
Lycanthropes = Hunting Grounds
Nords = Sovngarde
Imperials = Imperial Heaven
Orcs = Probably Malacath's plane
Argonians = The Hist
Bretons = Breton Heaven
Redguards = Hell (jk; probably their version of Heaven)
Khajiit = Khajiit Heaven
Altmer = Aetherius
Bosmer = Aetherius (or Bosmer Heaven)
Dunmer = Aetherius (or Dunmer Heaven)
DB Assassins = The Void
Nightingales = Twilight Sepulcher and then Nocturnal's Realm
Anybody who holds extreme devotion to any Daedric Prince = the realm of the Daedric Prince they hold their dedication to.
I am quite certain my soul belongs to Hermaeus Mora at this point. I'll wander the halls of Apocrypha until I've faded away...
Well, not gonna say the idea of spending uncountable time in Apocrypha just reading isn't interesting. But being subject to the Hentai Prince is not for me.
Zacharias Price souls trapped in apocrypha go insane after some time and you essentially become a mindless vessel
Its simple. Ralof descends down from sovngarde and says to you... "hey you, your finally at rest brother"
