  • People always tell me that China is DANGEROUS at night. In this video i set out to prove them wrong! I am in Nanjing heading to a dark empty square with primarily permanently closed shops and restaurants. It is dark and really exciting. I end up at a street food area with a conclusion.
I live in Nanjing and love showing how amazing this underrated city is. Watch this playlist for more:

As a woman in China, my favorite thing to do is walking outside at night just because I can. In summer i used to ride my bike through the darkest part of the park just because😂 As a South African, walking outside alone at night is pretty much a death wish back home. People don't believe it but China is literally the safest country in the world

I have seen young girl playing electronic games while walking at 2 am in a completely deserted street with minimal lights ... she was focusing on he cell phone e-games and did not worry at all about dangerous risks etc. ..... Those China-rashers who keep parroting about Human rights against China should tell us if their daughters can do this in your city .... after all a fundamental human right is the right to stay alive

In fact, roaming around Chinese cities late at night can be very dangerous, because the late night snacks and barbecue restaurants that are open can easily lead to diseases like high blood pressure and fatty liver due to excessive calorie intake late at night. Or you may end up spending a lot of money trying to lose weight after overeating.

Many people say that this security is due to the installation of many cameras. If crime can be solved by installing more cameras, then the city's security problem will become simpler. In fact, the density of cameras on the streets of London is not less than that of China, but You don't feel safe walking on the streets of London at night. In fact, there are not many cameras in Chinese towns and rural areas, but there are also very few vicious crimes in Chinese towns and rural areas. In the 1980s, China wanted to crack down on crime through strict legal measures. If you stole on a bus, you would probably get 3 to 5 years in prison. If you committed robbery at that time, you might get 10 to 15 years in prison. As for the sentence, if you commit rape, you can probably get 20 years to life in prison, but crime is still rampant. Facts have proved that only when the employment rate is improved and people's lives are secure, crime will naturally decrease. It is difficult to find homeless people sleeping on the streets in China.

China is different compared to West, bcs they wouldn't kick their son or daughter to live on their own unless they are able to provide for a whole new family with a stable job that's why you rarely see homeless person there and they don't taxed property aswell , raising kids is hard no matter the countries are, you just have to endure with forgive and forget. Although i don''t live in China but i sometimes see in big city through videos there are some people actually sleep on cardboard asking for money through wechat or alipay, it's still rare bcs some family just grew up differently. They might be relocated somewhere by the government to communal govt propperty probably.
