Some people are saying this looks like a school presentation but I think that's part of what makes it so unique. I was impressed the first time I saw this MV because I thought, "I've never seen a kpop editor use these effects in this way before," and I thought that the bad green screen work was part of the concept and vibe they were going for. That youthful, naive thought of "I want to look cool and impress people so I'll put as many effects in my video as I can" comes through in this and that's part of its charm, in my opinion. And I'm not even a Carat (I probably will be at some point haha) so I think it's one of Seventeen's strengths that they're able to impress someone like this who isn't even in their fandom. I remember when i first heard this song i didnt like it 😭 but then i heard mansae and was saved . Adore u best debut !!!!!
to think that I've stan them since i was in primary school until now (im 19 and in university!). I really was raised by Seventeen.
Some people are saying this looks like a school presentation but I think that's part of what makes it so unique. I was impressed the first time I saw this MV because I thought, "I've never seen a kpop editor use these effects in this way before," and I thought that the bad green screen work was part of the concept and vibe they were going for. That youthful, naive thought of "I want to look cool and impress people so I'll put as many effects in my video as I can" comes through in this and that's part of its charm, in my opinion. And I'm not even a Carat (I probably will be at some point haha) so I think it's one of Seventeen's strengths that they're able to impress someone like this who isn't even in their fandom.
