My great great grandfather Frederick McLean Carter, his children and grandaughter, (my grand mother) lived in Nainital. He is buried here in Pines Cemetery (he died 1909). I am going (hopefully) April 2026, 100 years since my grandmother left for the UK never to return, and 50 years since her death. This will be going home for me. When I saw your wonderful video I creid and cried. Much, much love to you both. Kelvin, Birmingham UK

This composition took me back to almost 65 years ago to my first memories of Nainital my birthplace too! My schooling too was in Nainital so it is like my mother town!
Thank you for Vishi and Rudy for this exquisite rendering in words and pictures. Go bless you both.

This is so touching. The early hour of my day is platinum hour where I remember, reflect, meditate and contemplate, all immersed in gratitude to God.
Today you made men d all this in less than 6 minutes.
This is the best that I have read and seen in a long long time.
You made every corner of my heart come alive by bringing the memories of both the place and a family that I can never forget.
    Thanks Vishi and Rudy.

And then reality strikes of how we have destroyed Nainital.
Beautiful video and yet there was a time when Nainital was more beautiful.

I've been in Nainital for 16 years , every scene reminded me of my childhood , seeing your video just made me skip 5 minutes and it was a sort of re-living my childhood .
The narration was so well , brought tears to my eyes .
And certainly the Title justifies itself - The refuge of my heart "NAINITAL"

i was born in Nainital. and i was 13 when my father died my mother brought me back to Kanpur. Everything good that i can write about this video, has already been commented. And i really wish that i could write my emotions here, which i cant. the video touched me. and the poetry served as the backbone. Everything in this video, every clip, every photo, i have felt it. Those cold breezes when they touch your face and the full moon is up, the entire city down and you're on that hill. time pauses. what else can i say. love you guys for makin this video.and thank you so very much.peace.

This is by far the most beautiful video I have ever seen on Nainital. It has breathtaking views and beautifully captured mountains. It not just enhances the beauty of the hills & lake but also touches our hearts by the lovely poetry. The font used is beautiful. Every shot is mesmerising. Love the video to the core. Thank you for creating such a masterpiece.

@@VishiSinghPhotography Yes, my Dear! I visited Nainital in 2003 for the first time and instead of three weeks I stayed 5 Months ever since I returned for my research in refined MEDICINE KAYAKALPA & KRIYA YOGA and from 2003 until 2016 I was blessed & pleased to return from Europe & lived in our wonderful blessed geographical & historical Nainital for nearly 3 years. Breathing the air & spirit of this wonderful refuge of y heart. So that my soul is able to spread her wings wide across the world into 4 continents & all the blessed work we are able to accomplish. Thank you so heartfelt & in SOUL's RADIANCE, my Dear! I am so grateful that you share this crown jewel with us!

Quite often we are driven by desires, ego, religion, some ideology, threads of cultural relativism, emotionalism, intutionism. Sometimes by love and occasionally by hatred; but once in a while, in a tender moment, beyond those times of glory or shame, of ambition or fame, our unconscious mind takes us to a place where we derive an extremely pure sense of divine power... Watching this video has taken me to a place similar to that..Kudos to your work and more importantly the thought behind the work!!

I just cried, thank you for making this video. We plan to visit April 2026, 100 years after my grandmother left for UK. She never returned. Her grandfather Frederick McLean Carter lived and died there. We hope to find the family grave. This child of Naini is coming home. It would be nice to meet up with others these who might be able to tell us about the old days...?

The living GOddess of Uttarakanth, Dev Bhumi, India and the world. So wonderfully blessed doen. I love the way you express it. This gives much meaning for my experience and feelings about Nainital.
