Haha! ^^ It is so fun to read comments from people that enjoy the HMKG band and drill team :) We are very proud of them ^^ So just thank you from Norway for enjoying this.
That is why the international olympics were created, have you seen the indian and pakistani borderguards relief? Hillarious. I agree with you, wars are an obamanation
Most, if not all, of these young are teenagers fulfilling their national service obligation with barely 6 months or so of training under their belts. Impressive to say the least.
The song is from Romeo and Juliet. It's called "Montagues and Capulets", by Prokofiev. Can't say I've heard of any black metal song that starts like that at 8:20 though..
These young guys are just doing their service to the country. And gets replaced every 6th month by new guys doing their militairy service... so yeah, it is some imperfections, but this was early in the season.
For a norwegian you know way to little about how the kings guard work. They're in there for a year, not 6months. Half a year of service is the homedefence and quick response forces. I should know, I'm a Sergeant there myself.
@@svimle511 well im assuming he means they dont perform in front of an audience like this straight after the draft, they go through recruits, then alot of training and are bascially only ready for a performance for 6 months Dont assume norwegians dont know how the army works, most of us have gone through it
Pent jobbet som alltid, men Drill hadde en DÅRLIG dag den dagen der. Syntes spesielt synd på han stakkaren som nesten gikk på aksel! Men som alltid - galet imponerad ; )
Why don't they line up and the guy on the end throw his gun to the guy on the other side here? I think it's awesome when they do. And they sometimes use electric guitars :P
First of all, HMKG have never attempted to be perfect. If one is perfect, how could you improve? Secondly; yes there was some mistakes in this show, they are human after all. Besides they only had one day to change the full 30 min drill into a modified tattoo drill, wich could lead to alot of confusion. Numbers get mixed up and when at the same time you have to learn up to eight spots in the unit does not simplifie it! As a final note, this is early season.

listen too this man! he speaks the truth, but if that where the case Switerland would win in drumline area thanks to Top Secret, America would win DCI for Phantom Regiment or The Cadets, i'm not sure about the others though
Sounds good. So instead of 10 years of constant war because of 9/11 there should have been a competition between a american banjoplayer and afghani drummer. 10 tunes, 10 rounds. The loser is the terrorist. After a enjoyable afternoon full of music broadcasted all over the world the battle is over.
I hate to admit it but I see the kings guard doing a lot of errors in this show, and as well as other show performed by this unit. sad to see a decline in quality because they used to literally be perfect.
What a let down. The music score was shocking, not suitable. I think some in the music dept. have started to get fat heads and need to come back to earth. Most disappointed.
The best music and drill team in the world, hands down!
Frikkin awesome! blown away anyone who can teach kids to do this is a force to be reckoned with.
Fantástica actuación de la Guardia Real Noruega. Una excelente demostración ejecutada con perfección y elegancia.

any resemblance to perfection, is reality, greetings from an argentinean soldier
Instead of wars, we should have world band and drill competitions.

Absolutely perfect

Kör hårt norge, ni är fan bäst och blir bara bättre!

That's exactly true at all! The USMC Silent Drill Team has more than a fair chance at winning the competition :D
Kinda reminds me of those old dci videos with troopers
Fantastic
Ingen over, ingen ved siden!! :)

MIS MAS SINCERAS FELICITACIONES, ESPECTACULAR.

Oh no, then Norway would rule the world!
We already do ;)

At 08:20 That is the intro of a Norwegian black metal song...but I can't fucking remember which one. Help me out guys

I Agree.
5:33 the extreme right flank was too quick
what's the name of the song at 06:20?
As long as we are beaten by our Norwegian neighbours, I don´t mind! HMKG is fantastic!
wow finally not a salty swe person!
@@fosho894 i only read positive comments from swedish ppl, you seem to need the salt mate
Does anyone know the song at 2:35?

OUR BAND WOULD DEFEAT YOURS AND ANNEX YOUR BANDS!!!
More like a march if u ask me.
2:00 guy in the middle =)
I disagree.... Only because Norway would win every single time! :(

4e za xren :))
is it just me or did they just play riverdance?!
Yes :P Riverdance is a pretty popular genre in bands all over Norway and has been for decades :) It's a nice challenge.
huh...interesting very good rendition in all fairness for a brass band!
+James Conneely It only makes sense since they first played opera music and then ballet music. Riverdance makes sense ;)
I hate to admit it but I see the kings guard doing a lot of errors in this show, and as well as other show performed by this unit. sad to see a decline in quality because they used to literally be perfect.
5th from the right on 5:32 fucked up
Sååå interessant
huh....Americans wouldn't allow it, cos all the Europeans would dominate in it.
good drill team, a couple of booboos, but overall not bad, especially considering how much service each member has.
Sorry, men det skjer ikke ;)
takk søta bror... dere er inte semmre ;)
