I don't want to stop her from going places but im so scsred someone will rape or hurt her like what happened to me. I was almost shot several times sneaking out tryna ve grown. Doing drugs. Once a female starts going out , dating boys, partying they should know how to protect themselves and defend themselves. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I think you should try to get an understanding of her first. Find out where her head is at, what does she expects from you as her mother, her peers, people in her life and what does she expects from the way she is moving. Let her know what she’s risking. Get the support of family members like her aunt or uncle to be advisors in her life. A man would be better teaching a female about males, how they think what they do , what they can do, and how to defend themselves against a male. If not maybe boxing or self defense class. Teach her about self respect how she’s disrespecting you, the family or household. Teach her about the importance of having morals, standards and boundaries and what it saves her from. Teach her about humbleness. Teach her about discernment. Teach her about peer pressure, how to say no and stand on her word. Teach her about what a true friend is, what they do, what it looks like. Tell her what you expect from her and how you would like for her to carry herself and grow up. If you decide to show her tough love and allow allow her to make her own decisions. Set some grounds with her and let her know what will happen if she disobeys. Teach her about the importance of safe sex, what happens if you don’t practice safe sex (stds and babies). Even tell her stories. What to watch out for, show her what things look like and what can happen. (Bring her around someone you know what a similar story or background, make a Powerpoint with pictures, watch movies about specific topics and ask her what she thinks , get her point of view and give her your perception. If you can’t get her to stop doing drugs, teach her what to look out for, what to pass on, maybe even teach her how it is important to not use or buy drugs from any and everyone and where she shouldn’t do drugs at. Let her know about being laced and poisoned drugged up addiction rehab and jail time. Show her what it’s like . Take her on a trip. Teach her to always pay attention to her surroundings. Let her know how 1 bad or wrong move could change her whole life. If you believe in a higher power pray for her and get her on board. A teen that’s leaving out the house should always have a phone, make sure her portable charger power bank is charge up, maybe a backup phone such as a government phone (they are free). Get her a self defense keychain it has pepper spray, taster, dagger, etc and teach her know how to use it and when she should use it. There is SOS on iPhones and set up where you call the police and it automatically notifies emergency contacts and shares location.

Some females did not have strict parents they were allowed to do these things , some did and some was rebellious (like me) some was patient . At them ages a lot of teens didn’t really look at what we were doing, they just wanted to enjoy their life and be in control of things. Being able to understand, take accountability and acknowledge that. That’s growth 👏🏽❤️
I'm definitely learning first hand now. My 13 year old snuck.off and I couldn't find her. My dad raised me but he was always at work.and I would disappear for days smh. I called him crying and he said well now you know how I felt huh? Now get up and let's go find my grand baby. I'm not ready for this bs. I'm a recovering addict and the stress is driving me crazy. I don't want to stop her from going places but im so scsred someone will rape or hurt her like what happened to me. I was almost shot several times sneaking out tryna ve grown. Doing drugs. Having sex. It was a hot ass mess and I can't imagine my baby doing it. Maybe this is my karma.

Once a female starts going out , dating boys, partying they should know how to protect themselves and defend themselves. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I think you should try to get an understanding of her first. Find out where her head is at, what does she expects from you as her mother, her peers, people in her life and what does she expects from the way she is moving. Let her know what she’s risking. Get the support of family members like her aunt or uncle to be advisors in her life. A man would be better teaching a female about males, how they think what they do , what they can do, and how to defend themselves against a male. If not maybe boxing or self defense class. Teach her about self respect how she’s disrespecting you, the family or household. Teach her about the importance of having morals, standards and boundaries and what it saves her from. Teach her about humbleness. Teach her about discernment. Teach her about peer pressure, how to say no and stand on her word. Teach her about what a true friend is, what they do, what it looks like. Tell her what you expect from her and how you would like for her to carry herself and grow up. If you decide to show her tough love and allow allow her to make her own decisions. Set some grounds with her and let her know what will happen if she disobeys. Teach her about the importance of safe sex, what happens if you don’t practice safe sex (stds and babies). Even tell her stories. What to watch out for, show her what things look like and what can happen. (Bring her around someone you know what a similar story or background, make a Powerpoint with pictures, watch movies about specific topics and ask her what she thinks , get her point of view and give her your perception. If you can’t get her to stop doing drugs, teach her what to look out for, what to pass on, maybe even teach her how it is important to not use or buy drugs from any and everyone and where she shouldn’t do drugs at. Let her know about being laced and poisoned drugged up addiction rehab and jail time. Show her what it’s like . Take her on a trip. Teach her to always pay attention to her surroundings. Let her know how 1 bad or wrong move could change her whole life. If you believe in a higher power pray for her and get her on board. A teen that’s leaving out the house should always have a phone, make sure her portable charger power bank is charge up, maybe a backup phone such as a government phone (they are free). Get her a self defense keychain it has pepper spray, taster, dagger, etc and teach her know how to use it and when she should use it. There is SOS on iPhones and set up where you call the police and it automatically notifies emergency contacts and shares location.

She practically raised my sister and I as well. She was the definition of a beautiful, driven, hardworking, feminine woman and she taught me a lot as well!
