Hi all, in an effort to provide quicker responses to your comments, we need to update this channel to a “Brand” account. Unfortunately this means any previous comments left by Will are going to be deleted.
I am very interested in this solution for a particular problem I have. How would I make it so this secondary nav only shows up when on a certain page and not on others?
Looking at your plugins, my wife and I share one website where the user can click on our names and it takes them to separate pages. Would you recommend this plugin or your "Nav Replacer Plugin" if i want 2 nav's for each of our landing pages?
Hello. I am about to purchase this plug in, before I do, I was wondering if there's any way to make it so the secondary nav displays the drop down menu options from any given section of the main nav. Do I or can I combine this plugin with a site nav replacer to obtain said effect? Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks
Hey Albert, sorry in the delay! The plugin allows you to add a folder to your main nav from which it takes its content, this should work with the site nav replacer.
This was amazing! Can you make a tutorial so we can have a secondary nav is actually a spotify player? I have this set up in the footer, but I've yet to see anyone talk about about how to do it above the navigation and below the announcement bar. This code injection you gave provides that space.
Okay so I'm a little disappointed because I was so excited to purchase your plugin, which I did, and now I'm trying to input my Code Injection to install the plugin and it's not allowing me to. On your tutorial here, even with the blue banner above HEADER in Code Injection that states "PREMIUM FEATURE" you were able to put the code into the Footer section. How? I read that it's not available on a Personal Membership and needs at least a Business Membership, so I'm wondering if there's any way around this cos I feel kinda duped that there was no disclaimer on your page to let me know that it needed a Business Account or higher. Please let me know how you can help me!
Hi, is there a way to hide the "chevron" (I think that's what it's called) / arrow of the secondary navigation on menu and instead show the actual navigation links? I only have 2 links there and it seems a bit unnecessary to have a second icon that opens a second menu..
Hi! I really love your work and all the tutorials are excellent. I was using your code for the secondary nav and it was working great, but for some reason the secondary links stoped showing up in mobile. The Pro version would help me solve this issue?? Thank you!
Hello, I really move your tutorial on how to create secondary nav on Squarespace. I was wondering if those secondary nav can also be used to link to different anchor points in the same page, if so what code do I have to write to get it to work. Thanks!
The plugin works great for me. The only issue I'm having is when I load the page, the logo in the secondary menu flashes extremely large before appearing as normal in the navigation bar. Can I get some assistance with this? And I've been unable to remove the underline on the anchor links as well. I even tried to remove them with in-line styling.
Hi Will, this might be a quick fix for you: How can I reduce the padding and the height of the secondary nav? And edit the size of the text of the links? Thanks!

I just purchased this today and it's the best plug-in Iveccc! Thanks SO MUCH! 🙌
Haha I think it applied my super thanks to another video, but it was for this! Much appreciated Will. Excited to try this out.
Hi Will. Is there a way to create a vertical navigation with words horizontally?
Thanks - a feature that should be part of square space already! Hey Anthony Casalena, are you listening :)
Thanks Will - love your stuff!
Please to have the content of the secondary-nav displayed, the way you had it displayed, do I need to pay for any plugin to achieve that?

This is great!! Does the second nav work with a membership? I will be using memberspace. I want all pages hidden from my website. Thanks

Thanks so much for this, Will! Is there any way to add the secondary nav to the footer?
so even for the paid plugin there isn't a way to have dropdown folders in the secondary nav? that's what i'm looking for.

Hey, if you're able to share a link to an example of what you're looking for we can add it to our list of tutorial ideas.
Is there a way to only make the secondary nav visible on certain pages ?
Thank you Will, this is a great plugin!
Thanks a lot, the plugin was really helpful!

Hey Charline, this is a feature of the pro plugin, the code for this is on the installation page under 'Keep Secondary Nav Links on Mobile'
That's great, thank you! Does your paid version offer the option to get the secondary nav sticky with the first nav staying non-sticky?

Hi Will, I really would like my secondary menu to blend in with my site and I don't want it to have a background color. How do I accomplish this?
Im trying to do this but with two different secondary nav folders so Im able to do a bilingual site how would I go about this?

Can you add logo's? (Separate navigation for separate pages)
Thanks for this. I'm trying to make my secondary nav specific to a few pages only. Do you have a code for that?

Hey Alex, the Pro version of this plugin provides CSS to make these changes - www.will-myers.com/products/p/secondary-navigation-for-squarespace-71
Brilliant. Going to try this out :-)
Is the codes work with every Template?
Thanks!
This is great. Thanks.
Thank you so much!
Classic "draw the rest of the fucking owl" tutorial
hi will, big fan, how do i get a secondary nav on the bottom of the page
Hey Riham, with the pro plugin you can turn any section into the secondary nav, so could add a section at the bottom of the page.
@@abi-at-WillMyersSupport thank you
Ace. Thank you.
this doesnt work :(
