My mom had this fragrance when I was 11 years old. I'm 53 yo now and I just got my mother a bottle today 💞 this taught me at a young age on how important it is to smell nice. This was a great fragrance then and it's great now🙏🏽🙏🏽 in my opinion. I like what I like and I take what I hear reviewers say with a grain of salt because at the end of the day,,,,,, it's my nose and my money and If I like a fragrance I buy it PERIOD!!! GREAT REVIEW 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks so much for this review, so sweet and I totally enjoyed your story! I just purchased this with the matching lotion and I’m so excited to add this classic to my collection 💞 “over the top French feminine floral” right up my alley 🥰🥳
What brought me here is my search for the fragrance and a good review. I’m definitely going to purchase a bottle because my dear sweet grandmother use to wear and love Anais Anais. I’m buying it to spray when I want to feel close to her. Her birthday is approaching soon and I will have it before then. This was my first love of fragrance as well and started me on my journey. She will forever live in my heart.
Oh, what a review! Loved your story-telling! I’m tempted although I remember I didn’t like it that one time when I smelled it a long time ago. You got me curious :)
My mother wore Liz Claiborne in the yellow triangle bottle. Absolutely beautiful. She also wore an absolutely divine sun tanning gel called Bain De Soleil. I always liked fragrance from a young age, starting with Love’s Baby Soft, Coty Vanilla Fields, and especially Exclamation. My mom also wore Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden which still makes me smile. I had an odd affinity for Windsong by Prince Matchabelli. As a pre teen in the mid nineties I don’t think I was the target audience. I definitely have Anais Anais on my radar and I’ll likely blind buy it, especially due to this glowing review.
I have just bout this profume at the Airport and it’s the same exact profume that’s my Mother used to wear in the early 90’s and just smell it bring me back to my childhood and give me a nostalgia and happy feeling at the same time !
This is a easy one Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene. It was my dad’s of course and he had always brought the latest designer Fragrances. It’s because of him I like Fragrances to this day. I remember Grey Flannel because I remember I oversprayed this going out one night and it seemed like it was everywhere in the club that night 😆Those others you mentioned like Drakkar, Polo Green I have fond memories as well.
It’s funny how you mention John Hughes movies because i feel like Sam from Sixteen Candles smells like this perfume it matches her girl next door persona and vibe !!
Thx! Actually it was not my camera which is excellent. It was the editing software which was compressing the video and ruining the resolution. So I'm using different materials now. Going forward the videos will be much better although I still have a few that I've filmed over the last week that I will be posting that were done with the old software.
Great video. This is a somewhat disappointing reformulation (if it's called L'original). It might be worth your while to find that true and original formulation. 💯
$30.00 ???? Hmmm lots of fakes out there, that's seems awful cheap for a old classic. Maybe I'm wrong I'm in canada and that price is Unbelievably cheap. Excellent review it is a oldie but still a goodie.
Get outa here,no way bud 1985 Jenny Kane my first serious girlfriend and her favorite perfume was,you guessed it Anais Anais dude that’s crazy haven’t smelt it is decades now,wow ain’t that a coincidence lol have a good one my friend 🙏🙏
Best floral ever. Its DNA is so amazing. It is a bouquet of so many flowers. It is timeless.

My old fragrance from childhood is tea rose and petite Nate by Jean Nate…can’t find the latter sadly
Anna-eese Anna-eese is how it's pronounced. Thought to be named after the writer Anaïs Nin
