I have known several people who come from cultures outside the US where polygamy is the norm. They all said it is a terrible system that adds a ton of unnecessary stress to the family.
Polygamy is all about the men. They get bored with one woman, or want a younger one, plus they feel oh so important with a harem. Meanwhile, the wives aren't getting enough attention and feel jealous and unhappy, and many of them and their kids live in poverty and are on public assistance. It's never been a good idea and never will be.
He neglected to actually embody the love for four women that he claims his religion allows, he chose women he could control to subsequently have children he could control, creating a nation of kody to bust his ultimate ego nut. Would you want o repeat a loveless, absent, manipulative marriage that includes other women that he will put against you when he see fit to regain control because by this time you have convinced yourself it’s love…them kids see right through his bs.
