The MOST OVERPOWERED BUILD in 2K HISTORY is BACK...

- Tall Point forwards have been around for years and years in NBA 2K. In 2K17 we had 6'10 point forwards that were completely overpowered. In 2K18 we had those same 6'10 point forwards running not only the park but the pro am scene as well. The years went on and the point forwards continued to dominate, now its time to bring these back for NBA 2K22!

Tall dribbling builds have always been my favorite to play with on 2K
Same
Ive never used. Build under 6’7
Yea my 6’7.5 offense initator is a demon can do everything also hella fast.
@@runmyfadegaming suiiiiiiiiiiii
@@finlay1809 lol what
17 and 19 was the 2k i enjoyed dribbling the most and 21 too but thats my order Btw big builds are my favorite. They are really the reason i play 2k being able to be a big dribbler that can do everything and play all postions is crazy. I use a 6'8 pure yellow and a 6'7 green yellow makes the game so much fun for me.
I have a taller build that is pretty similar. It’s a 6’9(2.06m to be exact) SF Pass First Wing with Shot Creator Takeover. The badge spread is 4-13-30-9. I put the extra badge point from season two into shooting. I do have to say the shot creator is an incredibly viable option to use on this build. My build has an 86 mid range in take over and I primarily take hop jumpers. This build is incredibly versatile on defense. The slashing is also underrated. The reason I wanted the four finishing badges is so that I could run mouse in the house because you are so tall. I will say I think that having close shot makes a big difference. You can easily back down a guard and put up a standing layup. You’re welcomed to give my build a test if you would like to. It’s already at 99 overall
Does it get boards
@@basketballwrld4506 yeah. It has an 86 defensive rebound and a 75 offensive rebound
This would be hella dope to see
@@marcusrwd5301 frfr
2k19 was my favorite year to Dribble. I felt like a god that year and everyone had their own dribbling styles
19 > 20, 21 and 22 easily. I just hated the Toxic Locks greening from half with 54 3ball and Post Scorers on 19
Y’all young boys 15,16,17 best dribble games by far
@@IVJmes nah 19 combos were nicer 15 16 17 were just stand still rhythm dribbles and momentums
@@SeedOilFitnessOfficial facts
@@IVJmes they don't know about 2k17 they youngins
What up Joe.. fire build... I hope to see you more on next gen after Christmas
Appreciate the content boi you always dropping some fye
for me 2k19 dribbling was smooth and the combos you could do were crazy
joe this is my answer to your qeustion, my fav game to watch ppl dribble on is BY FAR 2k19 with the clean animations and the clips ppl got. ppl like gman and steezo was my fav. my fav game to dribble myself was 2k20 i was better than the average but i wouldnt so i was that good. i really love the vids, you're my fav RUclipsr for 2k, all love and keep up the hard work. see you in the next vid
2k17 my all time favorite. And I loved snappin ankles with bone collector on my point forward
Badges to get ankle breakers consistently stop and go (hof), quick first step(hof), ankle breaker(hof), space creator(hof), quick chain(gold+), breakdown (gold+), and must have at least a 90 speed…a total of 22 badge upgrades for playmaking
I loved 19’s dribble. It was so simple but you needed to have skill with
Fax
2k19 was my favourite for dribbling and everyone had their own way and style
2k17 and 19 man these were the good days bro I remember your post scorer in 17 man straight demon but that 17 dribbling was different and I’m just a 3 and d type player
Joes videos really tickle my fancy
Hey Joe luv the vids
Wouldn’t it make sense to take the finishing badges at start and when you hit 37 you can just put the shooting badge back onto you’re shooting category to get back to 15 and you would end up with two more finishing badges. Someone let me know the thought process on that
2k19 for sure was the most entertaining for dribbling. it was my first 2k so i was pretty shit but regardless gman was so crazy to watch
I got a similar build but with the yellow-blue pie chart (playmaking and driving) and at SF 6'7" I got it to 30 playmaking badges and 85 driving dunk and 80 ball handle so I'd rather go with that
You can’t get 30 badges unless you choose a pure build even mainly one type and a little of another you only get like 25
@alejondro if you choose yellow blue and small foward you can bro
U can even get 30 with the more yellow then green at sf also
@@alejondrozamora5233 Go to the builder on old gen, list the player on SF, pick the yellow-blue pie chart, start putting points in playmaking badges and you're gonna see it yourself
I have the build at 6,5 he's telling the truth
Joe what you think of BDG’s 6’9 play glass I was thinking of making it but not totally sure
Damn it’s surprising to me how nobody ever goes strength pie chart it’s severely underrated so long as you make the build with the right sacrifices
Yea I have a lock build I made with strength and it’s crazy
99 speed 99 acceleration 99 strength on a guard lockdown 99 driving dunk steal layup no cap 🧢 it’s crazy I’m a underrated yt but I be in that builder
I’ve made a pure yellow every year I’m so glad they made shooting easy because it makes the build op. I used metric system 2.00m (6’7 is 2.01m), max wingspan, 85 ball handle, 70+ dunk and layup, 70 3pt, 75 mid, max speed and acceleration 😰 then add another 4 to all stats at 99
Close to 1mill man
Ngl, get this man to 1 mil
Joe making 2k content made me want to make 2k content
Thanks for the video
Showing love to Sid 😎😎
We need to know your dribble packages and animations video joe especially for these big man dribblers
Great one! What about your sigs ?
I made a 6’8 Playmaking Glass Cleaner that can iso and still hit 3’s with a 60 3 ball. Also can post up smaller guards with ease. I’m having the most fun I’ve had in this game so these big guard builds are supremely underrated!
what are the sigs on that build cause the dribbling looks so good
2k17 and 2k19-2k20 these are the best dribbling years
I started enjoying basketball on the pandemic so I didn’t play 2k19 sadly, but I really enjoyed the dribbling on the 22
joe knows might be the best youtuber to live on this planet
I miss my 6’9 post scoring point forward from 2k19😭but I liked 19 dribbling way better than dribbling now it’s weird
This build looks great. Can we get it in next gen please?
Hey Joe if u do the 4 finishing you could put the extra badge on shooting and still have 15 shooting but 4 finishing instead of 2
thumbnail brought back hella memories
That 6’7 is nice but the 6’8 Playmaking Four is fun as hell!
I'm semi new to 2K but the dribbles you showed of 2k19 in the video they look fine as hell and looked fun so I'd have to say 2k19
I cannot believe how slept on “shot close” is when it takes into account standing layups, standing jumpshots near the rim and off dribbles near the rim… that’s a lot of potential shot types that suffer when you have a 57 shot close.
Ever see a tiny play shot brick a shot close badly? It’s because they have a 60 shot close at best. So sleep on shot close at your own risk.
Are you playing
It affects Floaters as well
Because it didn’t matter last year.
Close shot is ass only for hookers
@@DHKarol what are you even saying
I remember I learned how to dribble on 2K17 started in 2K16 but on 17 omg. 6”8 Point Forward was nasty. I think the best dribbling is definitely 17 or 19. 22 is pretty smooth too but playshots are lowkey broken
Finally someone who knew that 6’11 poit forward on 2k17 was op
I made this at PF and with a little tweaking around in the stats i got to 5 12 26 8 badge spread with sharp takeover at default wingspan.
@Russ Resse u gotta have ur passing at 65 or lower in order to get the sharp take
@Russ Resse pass accuracy 73. It will go to 80 when you drop to 6’7 so it comes out as a Point Power Forward.
@@ElChamoNY that would probably be a Secondary ball handler and wouldn’t have 26 playmaking badges
Joseph Knowledge 🔥🔥
i had a Pure Point Forward on 2k20 it was great , multi position defender. he was 6’10. he was able to shoot. had dribble moves/park moves, park dunks. ankle breaker. shit was heat. that build gave me over 500 wins in my history of playing 2k
i got the choice of play take and slaher take, wich one should i choose?
I need this on next gen help me out chat
Best dribbling 2k19 💯
if you could get slashing take instead of play take would you choose slasher take?
2k16 was something else ngl.. miss it
2k17 for sure was the funnest
so what’s the diff between this build and the pg pure playmaker max wingspan and 6’6
point forward builds are underrated
Me thinking I was watching a Hankdatank video🤣😭
i made a 6’7 point forward with lock take, max wing, 1 finishing 15 shooting 30 playmaking 10 defense. i used my extra badge point to get silver limitless takeoff
What dribble moves are the best for it?
I loved 2k17 dribbling
yo joe what do you think the best badges are for this build
2k19 dribbling was GOATED
Can we have a teaser video on the center build you've mentioned at the end? :)
Definitely had me a pure point Forward on 2k19 my 1st build that year was my pure stretch tho
Got a 99 ovr 6’7 playmaker brings me 2k16 nostalgia
It’s like Myteam, the taller you are the quicker you seem to move with the ball
Hey Joe, could you show the sigs you use on your Lebron build?
thumbnail hard.
For the little extra shooting, ball handle, and defense I went 6’6 instead of 6’7 and default (82.5) wingspan and I got the slashing take option
I enjoyed 2k 19 and 20 dribbling. Super fast and fun
Yo try out a facilitating finisher build next. I have a 6”6 pg that has an 81 three and an 88 driving dunk. Also with a 84 dribble. The defense isn’t as good but offensively it is crazy. It’s just crazy on offense and you can get real good perimeter and lateral but rebounding and block suck. Steal is actually good at around 79.
just went 40-2 today, I don’t usually snap like this but the reason was my teammate was a facilitating finisher who knows his offensive capabilities
If you go with the finishing and get those four badges you can get slashing take over
I liked 2k20. Preferably my inside out facilitator who could dribble, dunk, shoot, defend and pass. I miss that build every day.
I have a 6’8 point forward with a 69 3 pointer , hot spots all over the court . Joe if I can shoot consistently as an “average player” you definitely can🤣
2k20 is when I really got in my bag
Which NBA player is this most like? I just bought 2k and I’m looking to make a KD build
The play glass is even better tho.
yo what dribble animations do you use?
I made this build at 2.00 m I get 99 speed 6 finishing badges 11 shooting 30 playmaking and 9 defense I maxed the arms and have been greening like crazy with a 69 3 ball this build slaps🔥
I made a similar build to this but at 6’6 for 99speed, I went with 12 shooting,5 finishing 30 playmaking and 9defensive badges. I get a 75 3pt on default and with sleeves pumped it to 77. More than consistent from 3s and get those limitless takeoff dunk animations consistently. If you know your jumpshot and can dribble a bit(not the left right crap) this build will carry your offence
I have an account with 5 99 builds and this is one of them joe
2k17 is the best 2k park wise and dribble wise and it was new feet meter kinda was fire
Great build. Are you gonna make a tutorial for the 2-way mid range shooter build?
May be wrong but I think he made this build already
@@bailincheatham42 He did a video but only gameplay no tutorial
I made this same build awhile ago but as pf. Got the name Point Power Forward it’s insane
I thought you were making the 6,9 one 😂
what badges would you go with this build?
19 had fire dribbling
2k17 hands down
I swear there’s only like 3 thumbnail makers in the 2K community. It’s all the same, screenshot from in game footage, on top of attributes maxed out at 99 even though it’s unrealistic lol
2k18 there where so many dribbles moves everybody had different moves i enjoyed watching and doing my self but now I feel everbody has the same moves
2k17 was my year for dribbling.
Can we please get a petition to bring back the momentum spin
Shot take ups mid +10, helps finish and ups ball handling
Joe Knows finally made my build, I’m glad cause I’ve been dropping people off since September😂
I made this on next gen tho, (6’10” btw)
2k17 was the most fun
Joe i have the 6’10 demigod on next gen, Always wanted one of my builds on your channel
I have a Inside Out Scorer and has 90 badges is that a good amount and have pro dribble moves and contact dunks and can shoot. And still play defense
nah I need the sigs after watching this one
I enjoyed 2k19 dribbling best that looked so cool but I never got good enough
6’7” is not basically the same height as a Center, but its a nice build.
It aint finishing at the rim on my 7’2” 40 defensive badge Center tho.
79 three ball.
But it'll dribble u out n pop a easy 3
Not if my squad rotates. Lol
I dont play 2s.
@@j.landron8414 leaving a player open in the process then easy bucket lol I dont play 2s ethier
@@papapine519 point was that 6’7” is not “basically the same height as a Center”.
If you want to talk defensive rotations, Im cool with it, its just not the point of this convo.
@@j.landron8414 true guess I got side tracked but still doesn't take away from the fact it's a good build
What jumpshot were you use in
2k17 was defo the best for dribbling
2K19 dribble system was perfect
17 dribbling. it was just so snappy
