BLACKPINK is a K-Pop group which means they sing/rap in English and Korean. XG is a Japanese group who sings/raps in English so you can’t really compare.

Each member is the global ambassador for multiple luxury brands like Chanel, Dior, YSL, etc. They break records every time they release a song. So it ain’t even realistic to make a comparison right now. XG is just starting out. However, and this is my opinion as a huge fan of both groups, XG gives me the same feeling as when I first discovered Blackpink. I think they have Blackpink’s “IT” factor. I believe in my bones that they have it in ‘em to touch Blackpink’s reach and impact.

I think what you was trying to say about BP is that they have an edge that some other K-pop idols don't have, innately or naturally. Similar to an American or Western (🖤 ofc🙄😌) swag that cannot be simply Taught, but Gifted and such than just for show and the like. And yes they are pop too, but they have the swag in the edge that some other groups do not.
def recommend you continue to check out BP, maybe Pink Venom next. i did watch the vid fully, though i’m not sure all did. Blinks can be pretty protective about the girls (they do experience a lot of hate, which I will never understand why 🤷🏼♀️) so hopefully you won’t let it affect you checking out more of the girls. they are amazing, & always love seeing people discovering them 💛

All respect to you for the order you found them in, but like most new girl groups nowadays, XG are pursuing the blueprint Blackpink and YG Entertainment laid out. They popularized girlcrush on a massive level in 2016-2018 and have been riding high ever since! These Blackpink girls are 25-28, whereas XG are late teens from what I understand.
Next I recommend Pink Venom, How You Like That, Kill This Love and DDU-DU DDU-DU.

You should check out How You Like That. Blackpink is the biggest Girl Group in the world. XG is great and all but Blackpink run the game. This song is only a fraction of what they can do.

For me, to fully enjoy the song and the MV, you need to watch all their previous MV and know their history. I'm sorry to say this you cannot compare BLACKPINK to any groups... They are one of the biggest girl group, they are breaking records everytime they put some things out. XG is good but ain't better than BLACKPINK, they might get better in the future, we never know, but for now BLACKPINK is the best

Watch a few BP videos (Pink Venom, How You Like That, DDu Du DDu Du, Typa Girl) and more likely than not you will see why BP is what BP is (what many consider the greatest female group of all time, yep, and I do love me some Destiny's Child). Still stan on XG, no hate, they are worth being a fan of too.

XG is a JAPANESE GIRL GROUP and have labeled themselves as Xpop. BLACKPINK is a Kpop Girl Group. This group is also Internationally known. XG has not been out for a year yet. BP has an huge fandom and comes from an ENTERTAINMENT GROUP who financially can market them significantly more.
