ChainsawN&W1218,great shots with the trains rolling over the camera, highballing,I've always wanted to get a shot like that,Leslie air horn on that war bonnet.
Thanks Robert. I think you're seeing something other than open hoppers, especially on the first train, as it is a loaded train. Thanks for watching my friend.
Living in South Africa we do not see these sort of trains. Absolutely spectacular. Just love these videos. What approximate speed are these trains travelling?
Nothing short of AWESOME! Theres a couple guys that use multiple cameras, one has a drone, an undertrain, and cameras for both side views! The 755 on the first one is a real Warbonnet, the 697 in that nunber series was on the boxtop of the Athearn HO kit models some 20 years ago. Saw your video of MRL special units on a Mullan Pass train, is that the line where the North Coast Limited ran??
Thanks Paul. I don't believe 755 is a true warbonnet as it wasn't built until 1997. Yes, Mullen Pass in the old Northern Pacific route. Thanks for watching my friend.
@@PacificNWRailfan i posted a short video of an Athearn box from about 25 years ago, the 690 is featured in the picture. I am assuming that the 690 & 755 are from the same era, and they look identical from what i can tell. There are more than likely some bona-fide rivet counters out there that will correct me if i erred. I was thinking that Mullan Pass was on the former NP, when we were on family vacation in 1966, i got a glimpse of a short NP passenger train that i believe was on a curve of the pass close to the fledgling Interstate 90 at the time, it was still 2-lanes in the area back then, and a lot of road construction was in progress. We were going west, towards Yellowstone Park, and the short 5 car passenger was going east, if i am not mistaken, the North Coast Limited had more than 5 cars in its consist.
@@PacificNWRailfan Athearn came out with that image on the box in 1995, and it didnt last 10 years, it was replaced by a newer one with EMD F-7s on a passenger train. So, the 690 and 755 are similar but not identical, but since the road numbers were that close i "just figured". I dont have access to any source that can actually tell me like it is, so you did good explaining that to me, thanks!
The first train was outstanding! Fakebonnet leader, H2 and H2 and H1 DPUS! Classic… hard to find in 2022. Also loved the underneath shot! Have a great day!
Hi . Frage 1 was ist Train? 2Frage was ist east ripley?. Die Untergrund Kamera super..📽📽📽📽📽 Greetings von Germany Rhein side Düsseldorf Germany...Happy weekend. Grain Frage 1

Thanks Robert. I think you're seeing something other than open hoppers, especially on the first train, as it is a loaded train. Thanks for watching my friend.
Love those under train views. What's scary is that it looks like there is barely enough flange to keep the cars on the tracks.
Thanks John. No kidding, there isn't much there. It's amazing how much of the wheel actually touches the track! Thanks for watching my friend.
Great video!!
