Found your channel yesterday, was having a problem with a flexbox layout. I was so wowed by the presentation of your video. I proceeded to download as much as i can. You are amazing, and one of my new favorite teachers out here. God bless you sir.
Robo, this is awesome. I wish I had this years ago when I first started I will keep this in my back pocket for sharing with newer devs that struggle breaking into css.
How very helpful! Thanks for the links to the tools, too. I'm taking a Web Dev class just for fun and realizing (at 35) that I might actually want to pursue this to help boost my career. Videos like this are a great reference to come back to!
Just came across this video. The video is superb, excellent explanation and i like how you show pictures to explain. I would love more css videos, its a shame there are not many videos of CSS on your channel. This channel would get alot more subscribers if you done a beginner to advanced css course, even if you done it on Udemy I would buy it, you have something about teaching that not alot of people have. Please, you have got to do a css beginner to advanced css course either on Udemy or RUclips.
Wow! Dude, in my country, the government doesn't care about education as they see it as an additional useless burden so, really a big thank you for "caring about our education" xD God bless you man & make you happy "ever after"! Keep up the quality content! ^^
great video! did you know that you can increase the text in developer tools by moving your mouse to the console or elements tab and holding CTRL while moving the mouse wheel? Make it bigger for your videos if you want to show us some code in dev tools :)
At the beginning of the video when you set the section elements to 50% with the inline-block display property you failed to bring up the point that unless you address the whitespace issue one of the section tags is going to wrap to the next line. I was able to solve this by using the html comment syntax to erase the white space or putting the section tags side by side to eliminate the white space, or by setting the parent elements font-size to 0. Just saying it would have been a great learning point if you would have brought it up.
Thanks! I need to buy more XD. I bought it at "DesignByHumans" I am not affiliated with them at all, they just have a bunch of cool artists selling shirts.
