- SnowRunner Nintendo Switch review - Driving Sim Heaven! Back in 2017, Saber Interactive got me and quite a few people addicted to the wonderful world of virtual off-roading with the release of MudRunner. Now, we have SnowRunner, which after one year arrives on Nintendo Switch for review. Someway, somehow, Saber Interactive has managed to pull off a really well-built port. Though, as expected, there are a few caveats.

This is my first entry into the series, I just bought it yesterday and I have nothing bad to say about this game. Super addicting and calming experience. Plus I got the year one pass so there is an unbelievable amount of content 👍
I have it and you’re one pass on PS4. I want to have the cartridge so I’ll be getting the year one pass on switch later

Graphics are pretty nuts, except for the low resolution. Time for that DLSS Switch Pro.

Same here! It’s a good game though. There’s some expected pop-in but the gameplay is solid as nails.
It’s 1000x better than mudrunner it’s well worth the money played it since release on PS4 and had to get it for the switch the day it dropped haven’t played anything else on it since
What!!! Snowrunner on switch! That's amazing!! I am going to have to get me a switch I think. It's awesome that they're getting games like this on there. Absolutely love mudrunner so this will be a no brainer for me
I have snowrunner on both ps4 and switch. I play the ps4 version most, but I love having the switch version for on the go. I do notice a difference in graphics, but frame rate difference is barely noticeable to me. I enjoy them both to this day.👍🤙 Great video, thanks for the content.
I am in Germany at the moment for work my psvita has shown it age my wife decided to get me a switch with snowrunner since she knows I love snowrunner I can't wait till It gets here
I own Snowrunner for the xbox one (I'm playing it now) and I can't wait to pick this up. I'm a wait till its on sale and get the gold copy.
Can’t wait to see what they will do after Snowrunner. Would love it if they’d try to do a road trucking game a la Truck Driver or so

I would honestly love a region that has a map that starts off In civilization then the gate ways take you to the bottom of a mountain and you have to go up to the top with what ever goods you have to take but as you go further ie other maps it takes you to increasing off-road or less traveled roads

Great game, but IT IS A TICKING TIME BOMB.
After about 100-200 hours of game time, the game will inevitably start to crash every 5-10 minutes, rendering the game unplayable. There are no reliable workarounds. The developers know about this issue and said that they are working on a patch. It's been almost a year since this problem has been brought to their attention and they're still working on a patch. Basically since this isn't a mainstream game like Cyberpunk or Call of Duty, there isn't much backlash, so they don't feel the need to fix it. Stay away.
No problems with crashing on ps4 and im easily over 300 hours into it.
I never expected to fall in love with this game the way I did. Glad its made its way onto the Switch! I hadnt touched my Switch in months, now it's getting used again!
Does it have free roam? And roads that are not too treacherous? It seem like fun to drive around.
@@dinvision2410 the entire game is essentially free roam. Even when in a mission, you don't have to follow any certain path. You could certainly stick to easier paths when just driving around, but keep in mind for the missions you will have to get through some pretty challenging trails.

Literally zero interest in this game but yet I really want it! The switch is an odd thing, I collect games for switch like Ive never done with any system right the way back to the atari 2600 even tho I'll prob never play half them?
