This defense is good definantly a top 15 defense in the country. 6 points per second half is crazy. Even though the Sacks, interceptions, and PBs are similar to last year they are blowing the tackle for loss stats out the water on pace for 91 compared to 65 last year. Big up to coach Hart he recieved a lot of criticism in the offseason but he’s done an outstanding job this year. The Dline coaches Dancy, Sapp, Lewis have done a tremendous job as well. But I have have to give Coach Prime credit for his biggest offseason hire Robert Livingston who should be the front runner for the Broyles award right now because he’s been outstanding I mean 6 points in the second half what we talking about here. 💯

As teams avoid throwing to Travis side, his PBUs will be low and interceptions. The boy has to bait QBs to throw. As DJ gets better, how will teams throw if they can't run? The defense will get faster and better as they understand their defensive scheme better. If they ever shutdown a team 1st half it's a wrap.

Great report. The numbers speak for themselves. What do they always say about defense? It wins championships. If the defense keeps this up, they definitely have a shot at the conference championship. The offense is almost there. As the OL improves this will become a top 10-15 offense as well. If they can gel on both sides they have the talent and the coaching to get to the 12 team playoff.

I don't know if Edwards is used to a point where he will be a problem. Didn't see it in other games K State played. I could be wrong.
You're right. He's mainly used in a situational matter. Instead of every down back. If they see a good mismatch, they will use him, but CU has an advantage since they know Dylan strengths and weaknesses personally.
Dylan left before this defense formed so he wouldn't know how CU newly formed defense plays out.
There's a lot of talk about Deion Sanders going to the NFL with his sons. If he did the coaching structure/groundwork is already there, (OC-Pat Shumer, and DC - Livingston) nothing would change if Deion left and Colorado would remain a dominant force in the Big 12 Conf. and CFB. So, Deion Sanders could possibly leave and go to the next level if he decides and leave a powerful core.

Don't want them players with attitudes...Give CU them 4 stars with a chip on their shoulders...Stay the underdog n scrappy imo 😁 This is a team built on team effort n brotherly love...Uplift each other on both sides of the ball...Route for each other on both sides of the ball...Selfless play win as a team...Know who their go to guys are and are not jealous but very supportive and professional..Prime's CU FB club will produce very quality NFL players who are team oriented and disciplined imo

Don’t forget most teams started the season with 2 to 3 cupcakes 🧁 to start the season. Our cupcake team will Win the 2A Championship. In 3 more games we WILL move up the ranks because some teams will drop in averages with more competition.
