Great presentation, to add it as info: To easily know which one is smaller just add 0 to both numerator for both given fractions and divide it by their respective denominator. Then you quickly know by getting only the whole number result.
important point to mention at the beginning: wholes (or units) are the same size. otherwise, students will struggle with a question like: would you rather have 1/3 of a large pizza from Dominos or1/4 of a large pizza from Pizza Hut. if the 'large' are different sizes, the answers could vary. thanks for the videos.
Trust can be learned through someone's consistency to equally teach fractions at the same level as they teach physics. (While never tiring of it) (A rarity) How about life outcomes though? Believing after a lifetime of experiences? Just trying to see this through a math perspective, if possible. Perhaps it's just about the building of self confidence through learning... Maybe empowerment is the life line to severe and prolonged sleep deprivation too. 😆 😞 (please, nobody bother with sleep recommendations...) Anyway, got to grab a survivalist rope. (No matter what... .... ....) And realize it... Don't like the card. But, grab the rope. Grab the rope...
A key question missed, which toppings were on the pizzas? And for the cakes - chocolate cake or Lemon Drizzle cake? If Lemon Drizzle cake, I don't care how big the fractions are, I don't like it - you can have 1/1, 3/3 or 8/8 pieces
How about comparing infinitive gravitational force vs infinitive explosion force needed to overcome and create the Big Bang. If the infinitive gravitational force goes faster to infinitive than the explosive force, The Big Band could not happened. Hope you can do this. Gene E. Sotory
Can someone help me? The homeowner desires that a ceiling fan with light kits be installed in 5 different rooms. Each fan contains a light kit that can accomodate four 60-watt lamps. Each fan motor draws a current of 1.8 amperes when operated on high speed. It is assumed that each fan can operate more than three hours at a time and therefore must be considered a continuos-duty device. The fans are to be connected to a 15-ampere circuit. Because the devices are continuos duty, the circuit current must be limited to 80% of the continuos connected load. How many fans can be connected to a single 15-ampere circuit? I have an answet i just dont know if i did it correcltly 😅 TIA

Thank you so much incredible teacher!!!
You're very welcome!
Just amazing teacher , love your work , keep us moving 🎉🎉

Its easier to convert the fractions to percentages to work out which fraction is bigger if the denominators are different.
Brilliant 🥊🥊💯🤧💫
Nice 👍

Is there a difference between rational number and a fraction?
Yes actually funny you should say this at this moment in time. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖. 🐇 💝.🎸
