Quaid-i-Azam’s daughter Dina Wadia passes away at 98 in New York

- Dina Wadia, born August 15, 1919, was the only child of Quaid-e-Azam.In 1938, she married industrialist Neville Wadia, a member of the prominent Wadia family. Wadia's relationship with her father, had fallen apart when she chose to marry a Parsi. However, the marriage did not last long and she split from Neville shortly
In 1947 when Pakistan was founded, Dina Wadia had opted for Indian citizenship.
She visited Pakistan upon the death of Jinnah in September 1948
During her second visit 2004 on the invitation of Pervez Musharraf
She paid her respects at her father's mausoleum where she wrote in the guest register. "This has been very sad and wonderful for me. May his dream for Pakistan come true," Wadia died at her home in New York on 2 November 2017, at the age of 98. Messages of condolences started to pour in through social media
