As mother in-law, she is very fair to Ziba. Ziba in return is only good to her if she wants to ask something. Of course as q mother, she often got hurt everytime that Ziba frankly tells her that she doesn't want to live with Ali anymore! But she still continues helping her, becuz she knows that Ziba is not capable of raising their kids alone. the reason that she went to the village herself and to convince Ziba to live with her in the city, or rent a house for her, for Maryam's welfare and for her becuz she is pregnant and she have no money, so how could she sustain Maryam and herself. Even Saifullah offered her to live with him, her mother too, but she is so hard headed, she doesn't care if Maryam will just sip that juice made of water, sugar and food coloring, as long as she gets what she desires.
