There is a logger here that just retired that logged for Weyerhauser that has a CSI head on a 320 Cat that he might sell. I don't care for the CSI head but they all beat a chainsaw. The excavator/Ryan's combo works much better for our situatin than those million dollar beasts do. I cut some timber like this on steeper ground a while back and there was a 755 Timberpro with a big ol' Quadco head across the line on another tract in the same situation and I could cut a lot more timber than him and I could shovel it into the road a lot better. He had to constantly track around trying to hit those trees from 2 or 3 sides. Heck I could have cut as much with a chainsaw as he was. Everything has its place I guess and a hotsaws place is not on a steep mountainside cutting big timber.
I need to get one of these someday

Nice video and good job. Good looking tree's. Take care and have a blessed and safe day and I'll see you on your next video.
Thanks man!! You be safe!
Love to watch the timber cutting
When running this machine it's almost like I'm watching too...
Sweet timber right there!
Yea but not much of it, that's how it always goes...😢
We only have like 2 pine trees on our entire farm.
