Nice work. I fixed mine with super glue. When it breaks off again I'll try this. Thanks for the video.
If you can afford axs/etap, you can probably afford a $40 replacement battery. None the less I appreciate the creative fix! Great job!
Here in Turkey it is almost $80, and most of the places are out stock. Besides the joy of fixing something is amazing. Thanks for the complements.
Why pay them again if your battery is perfectly good? They should fix this issue as it has been a problem for many a few years now :(

Love the comment at the end and agree with it 100%. Sram has major design flow and do nothing about it.
Very surprised this happens as this part should have no strain on it, is for positioning only. On my AXS batteries (after some 20'000 km) there is no sign of wear or tear on the latch whatsoever, but good to know how to repair just in case.
Thanks for sharing this, it will be in my archive when time comes and I have to do the same…
have the same problem with the batt.. i only used mighty bond to fix it
How long you have been using the fixed battery?
@@kargi42 roughly 1 month now
@@ryansalcedo9402 thanks for the the feedback
Me arrependi de trocar shimano di2 por sram, perdi 1 bateria na estrada e outra precisou ser colada com superbond. 😥
Agora tens uma carcasa por 20€ que resolve isso

2 year warranty, just say it's faulty and get new ones sent every two years
