Hi there, i just watched your “Mixed-media for Beginners: Moulds and painting your elements” tutorial. About 47 minutes into it, you brought out a round dish like piece with a lot of moulds and paint and other effects. Do you have a tutorial for making that piece ? I am trying to learn the placement of moulds to add as a sculptural element added to furniture. I LOVE that piece. Nettie Rose
I believe you are talking about the one she did on a vinyl record and it would be part of her Patreon group. To watch that video you would need to join up as a Patreon and pay each month. She has lots of other videos on her youtube channel though with great tips. Or you can also buy mini classes on her Finnabair Art Studio website
Hi, this was a vinyl record and yes this class is possible to watch for my Patrons on 10 eur/month tier. There is no minimum length of subscription :)
@@FinnabairArtStudio I am your Patreon member….I’m in the US so it’s $13.- So I will try to find it that way ♥️
I’m not sure how to find it that way LOL
Products that is 😀
Am I use air dry clay in the molds?
I need to bother you again. I've made the same project (Ouija Board) with resin about 10 times with different colored wax. All are fine except where I used emerald and red amber and even after 3 weeks the wax is still a little big sticky, all other colors are just fine and dry. What could be the reason??
Finn, I’ve searched Amazon daily, here in Alberta Canada I’m really struggling to find the new moulds, I want them so bad because they’re freaking amazing 😻 do you have any suggestions on where I can order them from, please & thank you, I’m desperate lol😬✌️
The one in Calgary is called the paper and ink boutique. Hope they have them . Good luck
Paper and ink boutique would be my suggestion as well!
@@bobbiboucher1970 thank you! Wish I saw that sooner about the store in Calgary as it cost me over $240 plus shipping to get them from the US & shipping alone was 32$ and then converting Canadian to American dollars damn near broke me lol! I actually found them at a scrapbooking store in the US, ordered 8 moulds yesterday & they should get to me in Alberta Canada in 2 weeks! I won’t do that again as I’m only an hour from Calgary 🤦🏼♀️😣probably would’ve been so much cheaper! Sigh🥺🙄
@@harmony331000 I hear ya on that, but now you know for the next release.
Can I use spray primer for plastic and then spraypaint?
yes of course you can! Just let it dry well!
@@FinnabairArtStudio great, thanks for the fast reply. Do you give workshops in Germany? I'd love to meet you in person, you are such a great teacher
❤️💙💜
How can i get jewel effect paste in Ruby? Please
can you do just a mold video this is one of the hardest videos to understand it's a turn away video
I'm sorry to hear this. Which part is confusing for you?
Perdonad como se llaman eso dos líquidos que preparas en el vaso con la cucharilla para poner en los moldes
Como se llaman
Se llaman Resina Epoxy para artista
Hi I have been trying to fid your shop, can you postalink please. Thanks

Hi Finnabair
How are you doing today🌹🌹?
When my products gets stuck and I can't undo the lid, I use a heat gun to loosen the old product. And voila!
Exactly!!!
Does anyone else notice a difference between glue elements and resin or clay elements for the way paints look on them?
i use a primer first on everything, gives you a good base on which to add colour. i use gesso or spray paints.
there may be a difference as the textures of the surface look a bit different - the resin is the smoothest of them all. But gesso takes away a lot of the differences away!
