One of the reasons why you often see Kpop stars dancing in full clothing with jackets and multiple layers instead of workout wear is because it's one way they build up stamina and are able to endure more than 3 hours on stage during a concert where they perform on average 20 to 30 songs while dancing this intensely almost the entire time, all while singing live, and yet they are able to still sounding and looking flawless. It's kind of like how some people learn to endure extreme heat. The longer you spend in the sauna the more you are eventually able to tolerate the heat and it doesn't feel as intense. What they are wearing in their dance practices are very similar to what they would wear as part of some of their stage outfits, so by practicing in their regular clothing -- and often with several layers -- they are building up stamina, so when they eventually get on stage, it doesn't seem any different then what they have practiced for weeks.
Yup, they do absolute marathons on stage. It's really unreal. Also, basement practice rooms just aren't heated much. I've seen some members in shorts during a dance practice so it really depends on the season too.

The fact that this was only 3/4 of the whole group....now there 4 of them active in korea and 1 in china while the other 4 are enlisted right now in the military since its mandatory to serve before turning 30 there in SK... anyways thank you, EXO have been killing the game ever since their debute and now they are focusing on solo, sub units and other projects till the whole group comes back again when they all finish their mandatory military services in 2025 or 2026.
