- Life in the village and among the nomads has been associated with many difficulties and challenges since long ago. In these traditional environments, women play many roles, which, in addition to household duties, include agriculture and animal husbandry. This article examines the hard life of a village woman named Ashraf, who alone is responsible for taking care of her children and struggles with many problems.
#### Ashraf's daily life
Ashraf, a woman with perseverance and iron will, lives in one of the remote villages of Iran. After running away from his wife, he had to shoulder all the responsibilities of the house and the farm alone. Every morning with the sunrise, Ashraf wakes up and does his daily work. He arrives at his small garden, which is the main source of food for his family.
#### Challenges and problems
Life in the village has not always been easy for Ashraf. Financial problems, lack of health and educational facilities, and difficulties caused by heavy physical work are only part of his daily challenges. Despite these problems, Ashraf has never been disappointed and always looks to the future with hope and effort. To provide for the needs of her children, she has to use every opportunity and do different jobs, from sewing and embroidering clothes to selling agricultural products in the local market.
#### Day of Ashura and pilgrimage
Today is the day of Ashura and Ashraf along with his children have decided to go on a pilgrimage. On this holy day, they mourn Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions. Ashraf starts preparing the offerings from dawn and with love and faith prepares a simple meal to share among neighbors and mourners. After preparing the vows, he and his children move to the Hosseinieh of the village to participate in the mourning ceremony.

What is wrong with Miriam? She acts like she’s half drugged. She doesn’t say anything just a long face. She’s old enough to know to help with some things and the baby. He hast to be trained to stop that squealing. Every time he doesn’t get his own way he is a very spoiled boy, the mother is such a hard worker, but needs to discipline her children a little bit more. I never see her buying any clothes for her daughter, but she buys clothes for Mariam. Marie could be doing babysitting and doing a lot of things. She lays in bed while the mother is out working and and looking after the garden, there needs some some changes there really quick
