Very entertaining and worth a play if you can find it on an emulator. The second title, SW Behind the Magic was released for PC on the eve of EP 1 and it’s not so much a game as an interactive encyclopedia of all things Star Wars up to that time. The “game” experience I am referring to is a weapons testing bay where a stormtrooper is forced to endure three-four tests: Ewok rocks and sticks that knock him silly, a blaster that hits him in the ass and makes him dance around, a lightsaber that basically swoops in and takes his arm off, and finally a Death Star blast. As the main Death Star weapon powers up on the Stormtrooper is hammering the hatch door to get out before “ZAP” - an imperial test pattern pops up. I would sometimes play an entire level with panicked idiots running wild. Just leaving them, refusing to shoot them.
Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast 2, best game in my opinion.
I’m still haunted by Kyle Katarn’s pixelated mouth from the cutscenes in Jedi Outcast. What a letdown after the full motion video scenes with ropey acting from Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.
"I'm no Jedi... Just a guy with a Lightsaber and some questions"

Im sad, I hoped yall would mention Star Wars: Bountyhunter
PenguinDeffender
Especially since The Mandalorian just came out...and just simply because Bounty Hunter is an absolutely legendary Star Wars game
Nice coming back to this after playing squadrons and seeing that it has implemented all the features theyve mentioned
Jedi Knight Jedi Academy's balance of saber combat, force powers and first person shooting is yet to be matched
My secret shame: Star Wars Super Bombad Racing... it wasn’t awful
I love it but it was awful lol
I was just about to go to bed dammit. Why must you upload now!
No Star Wars: Rebellion mention, for shame.
I wonder if that game was actually good. 10 year old me loved it.
@@TheRichardson711 I picked it up on Steam last year and while the faults are glaring, it's still enjoyable. It's uncanny how smoothly you jump in to your 10 year old self's tactics.
Star Wars commander is a mobile real time strategy game, and it’s quite good. I do recommend it
Meanwhile in 2020, Star Wars: Squadrons exists and it....is....... not bad actually.
Lego Star Wars isn't on the list?
Perhaps the archives are incomplete.
*Empire at War: Forces of corruption*
if you actually play it use mods they make the game 10 times better
"Thats everygame." Yet missed Rebel Assault 1&2.
I played various Star Wars games in the late 80s on an Amstrad CPC 464 but honestly cannot remember the names. The most recent game I played was the first Dark Forces on PC. I enjoyed the sense of being in an immersive Star Wars setting. I enjoyed the puzzles - things like a secret tunnel hidden in an elevator shaft.
I even enjoyed isolating parts of the game and regarding them as a stand-alone activity. I would spend ages standing on a balcony in Nar Shadaar lobbing thermal detonators back and forth with rival Ree Yees on a distant bridge and thinking "ten years ago this alone would have been an entire computer game".
Galactic Battlegrounds was my childhood Star Wars game, I spent so much time on it and I loved it so much
