    What are the full ride scholarship opportunities?

    • @DesignXstream
      @DesignXstream  Месяц назад

      That depends on the universities you are applying for. Most private universities don't have a lot of scope for scholarships but state universities do have!

    Is it really needed to do masters.. I mean do companies really look for that...?

      A master's degree can give you an edge in the initial screening process, but it's not the key factor in landing a job. What truly matters are your skills and a strong portfolio, which are crucial in successfully passing the first round of selection.

      If your goal is work abroad then you can that this path! IF you just want to gain more knowledge then you can do your masters in India as well. So it depends on what your end goal is.

    I have a bs double major in psychology and computer science, and now I’m getting my masters degree in HCI. I don’t have a portfolio so I can’t apply to ux positions what can i do? How can I build portfolio without experience 🫠

      You can build your own personal projects and use it to create your portfolio. Or work for NGOs etc or try to intern, there are multiple ways.

    Gre scores are optional now. Should I still submit a higher score to increase my chances of admission or does it not matter?

    • @DesignXstream
      @DesignXstream  11 месяцев назад

      If you already have a high GRE score, it can certainly help your application. However, GRE scores are just one piece of the puzzle, your GPA, portfolio, letters of recommendation, and more... play important role in admission!

      Generally a 4 year UG is a minimum requirement to take up Masters aboard. However, there could be some universities that might allow.

      Since you already worked in UI UX you know the feel. So if you think you can do it your whole life and are passionate about it then go for the MS. If not then try something else.
