I'll be in Bergen soon , took a screenshot of your meatball plate at pingvinen to show the people there to make sure I get what you recommended, also both recommendations at baker brun. Your a good food critic, thanks!
Thank you. Happy you liked the vlog, and I know for sure you’re going to love the sweets at Baker Brun and the kjøttkake at Pingvinen. Also, a little tip is to visit the Bakery before 3pm to make sure you get the freshest skillingsboller 😊😊
After viewing your video about the must-try items in Bergen, Norway, I'm intrigued: What are some unique local delicacies or experiences that you recommend visitors try to get a true taste of Bergen's culture? Do you share more about Bergen's culinary scene or travel tips on Instagram? I'd love to follow along and learn more.
Happy to hear that you liked the vlog. Some of the most unique local delicacies to try in Bergen are the ones that I mentioned in the vlog, especially Skillingsbollen & Brødkake from Baker Brun. I will post more recommendations when it comes to what to see and try in Bergen in the future on this channel. I do not post much about Bergen on my Instagram, however, my friend Michelle posts about Bergen on her Instagram Micchii.
Loved this! It popped up in my feed and as luck would have it, I'm actually going to Bergen this summer for a friend's wedding :) The recommendations will definitely be useful! I visited her back in 2015 and Pingvinen was my favourite place, so I loved that you went there! I can't wait to go back and try more things. I loved the fish pie and fish stew but will have to try some of your recommendations there :)
Happy you loved it here ❤️ To visit Bergen in the summer season is the best! It’s the most beautiful city when the sun is out. Is your friend Norwegian? If so you have to get them to make Home Made Kjøttkake/Lapskaus for you. If not, Pingvinen is for sure a winner, or «bryggelofte» on Bryggen 🙌🏽
@@SiljeSLopez She's half Norwegian, half English but has lived in Norway for most of the time. She's Pescatarian, so we'll probably head to Pingvinen for the meaty things! I was in Bergen in April/May before and it was off-season and rainy, so hoping for some brighter days this time!
@@lifeandlouise Bergen is very beautiful right now, so hopefully it will be like this when you visit. I always recommend people to visit in the mid-May- early July since it is less rainy then.

Great video! I goto Bergen tomorrow can’t wait to try every on of your suggestions!
Have fun 🫶🏽 make sure to try the skillingsbolle at the Bakery early. They are often constantly making them fresh until 3pm🙌🏽
