I've got a similar model to this with I ly one alarm function. Now I figured out what the first 2 digit number was when setting time. Wonder why it only goes down to 13 though. Helped a lot thanks
Strange...my version only has one alarm ...not A and B. But I love this little alarm clock, it's already lasted like 8 years, hope it keeps going for a long time.
If you never figured it out you first set the date (year first) than *click* “enter time set” after that enter month and day *click again* then it’s time (1-12 hour : 1-59 minutes) than you have to make sure you confirm the time after entering it. MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM THE TIME IT WILL START FLASHING THE FIRST YOU WILL HAVE To *click again*
Great review, short and to the point. All features covered! Question: Can you regulate the display brightness? Make it super dim at night? Or at least does ir self adjust with a sensor, etc.? Cheers!
We bought this piece of crap 5 years ago (in white). After struggling literally for hours we threw it into a drawer and forgot about it. We dug it out and gave it to 2 UNCW Nursing students who rent one of our houses.;. A week later they thanked us and said "impossible to set." We have recently watched your video but it's just too much work to get the damn thing to tell time and wake you up.
My UK 24 hour quartz (military time) version ICF-C1 clock runs fast. Redditt has lots of others with the same problem. My 25 year old green LED version that gets the time from the power frequency is rock solid perfect time. Sad Sony have thrown away their reliability reputation with this cheap Chinees crap version :(

Setting my dad's 10+ years old Sony ICF~C1. What is the Time Zone and How does it get Set! The rest of the video was helpful.
Push time zone button in the back. Indicated by numbers. NY (EST) is #3, etc.

the only thing I didn't understand, was does the volume button (which changes the radio volume), does it also change the volume of the buzzer?
This was even better than the official instructions Official manual (PDF) via sony website although good !
I have the original version of the sony cube clock radio, it has an analog clock mechanism with a pocket am radio board in it.
